“Quiet and comfortable - what more could one ask?”
Reviewed 23 December 2013

We stayed here in early December on a cold and frosty night. We arrived to a very warm welcome and were shown to a lovely comfortable room with cakes and tea waiting for us. Mrs. Booty recommended a local pub where we had the most delicious meal, and on our return we slept like logs. The bathroom was lovely and warm with huge fluffy white towels. The full English Breakfast was just delicious, ready for us at the time requested, beautifully presented and our fellow guests were good company. Mrs.Booty was full of help and advice for our trip to Stamford on that morning.

We prefer bed and breakfasting to hotels any day and this was one we would hope to return to when we are next going that way. Thank you..

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights towards the end of October. We were totally satisfied, and endorse all the previous reviews - from the welcome to the comfort of our room to the thoughtful extras (cakes and tea on arrival, fruit bowl, fresh milk in the silent mini-fridge - the list goes on), to the luxurious white cotton bed-linen and super-size white bath sheets. Breakfast was faultless, served cooked to perfection and hot... my wife opted for the scrambled eggs and I for the full English (but asked for only one egg and one sausage - two of each were offered). The location is quiet and peaceful, and there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants within easy reach, whilst Stamford is only a ten-fifteen minute drive away.

It's not surprising to see that so many more travellers have discovered the delights of Park Farm since our review of 2010.
We have visited several times, over the years, and have never been disappointed.
Comfort, friendliness, peace and tranquility, and the excellent breakfast make Park Farm the place to stay.

We visited Park Farm last weekend for a couple of nights. Park Farm is set in an idyllic spot with rolling countryside views, sheep and three beautiful Shire horses in the paddocks.
The garden that wraps around the house is wonderful and I remember last time when we stayed, enjoying a drink in the garden listening to the sheep.
Elaine and Johnathon couldn't make you feel more welcome in their beautiful home. The rooms (we have stayed in both) are extremely comfortable with lots of personal touches and everything that you could possibly need. The hospitality tray is very well stocked and there was lovely homemade cake each day. Breakfasts were equally delicious and served in the dining room which looks out across the paddock.
There are plenty of good pubs a short drive away, we ate at The Castle Inn at Castle Bytham, which was excellent. Park Farm is an easy drive into Stamford, where there are plenty of other places to dine.
We couldn't imagine a nicer place to stay and hope that we can return again soon.

This is a lovely B&B the host Elaine is very nice she made us feel very welcome with her homemade cakes! The house is well kept and very clean and has stunning views. We stayed for the Bank holiday in the Clydesdale room which is a lovely room with nice separate private bathroom (roll top bath -no shower, only jug to rinse hair- could be a problem for long hair) on a little landing area where there is also a fridge with fresh milk and chilled water and Elaine left us cream cake in there too which was lovely and the next day on our hospitality tray was flapjack this was a nice treat. There is also another landing area to sit and enjoy as well as use of main sitting room which has stunning views of fields with sheep grazing.
The first morning we were woken at 6am by the sheep bleating as they were quite noisy and very close to the house but the second morning they were not as noisy or we had got used to them...but we love the countryside so this added to our experience of country life! The breakfasts were fantastic lots of choice on the menu fresh fruit etc. Lots of places to eat in Stamford but some places stop food on Sun afternoons so less places for sun evening meals! We are members of English Heritage and National Trust and there are lots of historical places to visit in this area. We loved our stay here and would recommend staying here and maybe we will be visiting again too!! Big thank you to Elaine! :-)

Another very quiet, pleasant and relaxing stay at Park Farm - our regular mid-August weekend away from home. Everything up to the usual high standard, even to the home-made Victoria chocolate cake along with the kettle, etc in our room. Recent reviews say it all. We don't believe you could find better if you want to get off the beaten track but still be in easy reach of lovely market towns and peaceful countryside.

We agree with all the complimentary remarks recorded in other reviews about Park Farm. We have just returned from our fifth or sixth stay there. We see no reason to stay anywhere else when we are in the Stamford area. Our message remains:–

If you are looking for a well appointed, comfortable and restful place to stay in the Stamford area, look no further. The accommodation is luxurious, breakfast is magnificent both in terms of choice and quality. Very helpful notes are provided about the area and places to dine etc.
There is no shortage of decent places to eat and drink nearby. Our favourite is The Castle Inn. Elaine and Jonathan at Park Farm are always most welcoming.
You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent though our favourite is the Shire Room.
