We were very pleased with the Eastleigh Hotel. The hosts were very welcoming & the atmosphere was very relaxing. They were knowledgable about the area and had plenty of information on what to do, where to go, etc. The room that we stayed in (luxury room) was spacious, relaxing & comfortable. The bed was very nice....infact I would have liked to bring it home with me!!

Room Tip: We would definitely recommend paying the little bit extra to stay in a luxury room with a sea view.

I chose the EastLeigh, purely on it's reviews as one of the best b&b's in skegness...the room was nice, not a bad size and had everything you would need and I was made Jo feel welcome and brought a nice fresh cafetierre of good quality coffee. The choice of cereal, juice, yogurt etc for breakfast was good but unfortunately, the cooked breakfast (for a £45 b&b charge) was way below par...1 sausage and 1 rasher of bacon is quite mean (I had politely asked for extra if possible on my breakfast order form previously) but also, the bacon was neither grilled nor fried but heated up in an oven which just dries it out and leaves the fat inedible. The black pudding and mushrooms had the same treatment which left the mushrooms almost raw. The actual quality of the ingredients seemed good which was a shame and a bit of a waste! As a cooked breakfast is a bit of a treat for me when not at home, it was quite a downer to an otherwise pretty good place to stay. Maybe my expectations are too high...although a breakfast cooked to order would make the eastLeigh a genuine b&b to consider returning to should I visit skegness in the future.

We were looking for a hotel to spend two nights in Skegness for, as we were visiting family and decided to have a mini holiday and visit the beach and attractions.

We arrived on the Monday and instantly Gary was very polite, he gave us a tour, told us to make ourselves at home and took us to our room. There he asked if we would like any drinks which was a lovely touch.

The hotel is very welcoming, clean and family friendly. As we are a young couple it was also fitting with us. The room was lovely, really clean and the little details were lovely. Plus the bed was really comfy!

We didnt meet Claire until the morning of Tuesday at breakfast but she was a delight too! Very friendly as well as their family. Breakfast was lovely (Very generous portions, we were extremely full for ages which is always a bonus!)

The little added touches, like DVDs which you could help yourself to was amazing, On the rainy Tuesday we found ourselves watching some! Only problem was as my partner went to watch the book of eli, the disk had been taken. Obviously someone liked that movie! So we went and bought it.

I would defiantly reccomend this hotel for anyone wanting a lovely holiday, it was amazing and we didnt want to leave. We shall be staying again in the future!!! :D

Thankyou Claire, Gary and family for making our holiday that extra bit special. :) xxx

Room Tip: We stayed in the Luxury room which was next door to the four poster bed, it was lovely.

We recently booked a short notice weekend at the Eastleigh (6th & 7th July) and we were so pleased that we did.
It was all the little niceties from getting a text confirmation about our booking to the toiletries, drinks choices and the little added extras in the rooms. Not only was there a hair-dryer but some hair straighteners too!
We had arrived half an hour earlier than we knew the room would be ready by so, I asked if it was OK to leave the car parked outside whilst we had a little wander. We were told that the room was ready and we could come straight in which was really nice.
As I see, someone else has mentioned, there was a huge selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the rooms and, had you needed any more, you only had to ask.
You can tell the kind of people that stop at the Eastleigh by the fact that the owners trust them enough to have a "loyalty bar" in the lounge area, where you write down what you've had then settle up at the end of your stay. This was also the case in the room that we stayed in (Room 8) as we had a mini fridge in there.
The breakfasts were just what you wanted to set you up for the day. Cereals, fruit, yoghurts, muffins, a full breakfast (or a lighter option if you wanted it), toast, tea, coffee, fruit juices.................we didn't have all this, just opted for the full English with toast but boy - it kept us going to the evening when we had a meal out. All very nicely cooked and presented too.
I would certainly stop here again and would have no hesitation in recommending the Eastleigh to anyone.

Lovely warm welcome at the front door by Gary, and then again to our lovely room, room 10, at first we thought no as the reception backed on to it, this was not a problem at all, the room and bathroom were lovely and clean, there was little shampoo's shower gels and was very thankful for the huge range of tea/coffee/sugar/hot chocolate as in travelodge and premier inn they expect you to survive on one each. The only negative about the room was you get a think sheet and a blanket our bed also had a cover over the top i was very cold in the night because of this

We were asked on arrival to fill out the breakfast form and to tick what we would like, the only thing about this i would say was it didnt tell you what the full breakfast included: the breakfast was very nice however i dont like tomatoe and fried bread and my partner didnt like mushrooms, we travlled as a four and were told we would sit as a four at breakfast however we were sat seperatly which meant we had to just chat through the breakfast area

The owners put a lot of effort into breakfast however your cereal is ready for you when you arrive and shortly after drinks, and toast with GORGEOUS little pots of jam as well as juices, yoghurts, muffins, lovely stay thank you
