“Such big eyes!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2013

Great experience, very passionate guy at feeding time, lots of knowledge, made it all very interesting...and those big eyes that look at you and then just dive and swim away (thats the seals!!!!)
Other animals too, mere cats penguins crocodiles, hens sheep, donkeys. The gift shop is very good, not overpriced. The entrance fee is quite high, but it takes a lot of cash to rescue these adorable creatures. Well worth a visit

Thank you very much. Feeding time is always interesting, both seal keepers give information about our seals and the work that we do looking after any that get stranded.
Hope to see you again soon.

“A lovely afternoon for all the family.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2013

We all enjoyed seeing the seals close up and hearing from the seal keeper about them. There were other animals also, penguins, meerkats, reptiles and bugs, turtles, fish and a petting corner. There was also a butterfly garden which was beautiful and a lovely warm place to visit during the cold Easter holidays! The staff were obviously passionate about the place, and rightly so, they do a good job. The buildings could do with updating, but it really is a lovely trip out for a family.

Sounds like you really enjoyed your visit to Natureland. Yes, there are always warm and dry places to be in if the weather is a bit chilly, which makes us a great choice if the forecast isn't great.
See you again soon and thanks again for your review.

“Superb!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2013

Fabulous visit to the Seal Sanctuary. Lots of hard work and love and attention go into making this a fantastic home for injured seals and a host of other animals. I went with my niece who had a particular soft spot for the seal in the 'seal hospital' area who has fishing rope stuck around her neck. The people who work their do a fantastic job and can tell you each individual animal's story. I particularly like 'penguin island' but don't miss the meercats and tropical animals, as well as the farm animals. BIG TIP, don't miss feeding time, this is where the animals show their personalities and you get to hear their stories.

What a fantastic review, thank you very much. The seal that had the fishing net removed from around its neck is now progressing well. A few more weeks should see it heading back to the wild.
Hope to see you again soon, thanks again.
