Just returned from my annul visit and as usual a warm welcome awaits you when you arrive.
The rooms are still spotless as always. Breakfast is brill and sets you up for the day. Martin&Joanne make you feel as though you are one of the family. So if you are thinking of a 2 week holiday or just a long weekend why not visit Skegness and The Invernia Hotel you wont be disappointed with any of them. See you next year

We stayed here for one night after scouring through Trip Advisor looking for a hotel in Skegness that didn't look as though it was stuck in the 80's. We didn't want to pay a huge amount of money as we were literally going to sleep and have breakfast there. For the price you pay, you really can't go wrong. The hotel is immaculately clean, the owners are very pleasant and the breakfast was lovely. It is only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Skegness and because of this there was no rowdiness even late on a Saturday night, as can be the case if you stay in one of the seafront hotels. The room was small but perfectly adequate although would have needed a bigger room if we were staying for longer. The furnishings were nice although the furniture itself was slightly dated although functional. The ensuite was spotlessly clean and there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We would stay again.

Ideal location for our visits to Gibraltar Point nature reserve. Excellent breakfast, very friendly hosts, clean and modern premises with car parking. We stayed for three nights and we will definitely be returning in the near future. Keep up the good work.

The Ivernia hotel is situated a few streets back from the sea front which places it in easy reach of attractions and the town centre, yet far enough away from any associated noise. It has parking which is a bonus, as with some hotels this is on street.

The stand out strength of this hotel is its cleanliness. We have stayed a couple of times in different rooms and the standard of cleanliness is top notch, as is the comfort of the beds and quality of bed linen. The rooms have nice flat screen tv's and tea / coffee facilities as you would expect.
Breakfast is a selection of cereal, juice and cooked breakfast to order. This was cooked really well and was not at all greasy. Portions are not huge, but to be honest, toast, cereal and full English should be enough for anyone!
This hotel has got the basics down to a tee, and because of this, and the consistency of standards, I can happily recommend it to anyone.

When i arrived at the hotel i was warmly greeted by Martin and Joanne, i found the hotel to be the cleanest i have ever stayed in, most friendly, food fab, rooms are light and modern and so comfy. The hotel is located in a quiet area but is only a five minute walk to the beach, shops and the bus/train station. Martin and Joanne made all the guests feel as if they were the most important person in the hotel. While i was there i tried the PASTA PARLOUR in the High Street [chip alley] also run by Martin and Joanne, if eating out you must try it as the food is fabulous and the high standards of cleanliness make this a must place to eat. Will be booking again for next year and the year.

Martin and Joanne run a fantastic family hotel with 5 star rating throughout. Excellent location with a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops and bus/train stations. food is also of a very high standard. During my holiday in skegness i tried the PASTA PARLOUR also run by Martin and Joanne in the main street [chip alley] well worth a visit or two with a choice of filled rolls, wraps and of course pasta mmm. Will definately be going back to both the hotel and shop.
