Small walk into town so it's quite quiet and kept away from the traffic.
Lovely clean rooms.
We were self-catering but there were plenty of extras left for us including tea, milk etc.
Fabulously cheap.
Brilliant atmosphere.
Such friendly people.
Well done and I will recommend this hotel to everyone I meet.

Having stayed here before I knew what to expect and as usual wasn't disappointed. Dave and Lesley make you feel like part of the family from the moment you check in. The place is immaculate the rooms are a good size so you don't feel cramped, the breakfast is delicious and served at 8.30 and sets you up for the day. Dave opens the bar around 20.30 and is the perfect host, as a lot of his guests are regular visitors you really feel as if you are among friends. Will definitely visit again.

The people who run the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. There was a kettle in the room for cups of tea or coffee free of charge. The hotel feels like home not a hotel. We stayed on the 12th to 14th May, out of season so they only did bed and breakfast. In season they do bed, breakfast and evening meal.
It's a shame about the shower it would keep going hot and cold and the shower wasn't very powerful.
I would recommend this hotel and it's a great value for money. It also has rooms available designed for wheel chair people.

Bridget my wife and I returned to the Mayfair for a weekend break with four of our friends. We had booked to see a show at the Embassy theatre. As always our stay felt more like stopping with friends rather than staying in a Hotel .Dave and Lesley go out of there way to make your stay memorable. Dave even helped me do some minor repairs to my wife's wheelchair. They go the extra mile , and we would never book anywhere else .Keep up the good work Dave and Lesley and thx so much . Mark and Bridget Bodger from Cambridgeshire .
