Friendly welcome, very good food. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, 5 minutes from the beach. we really enjoyed our stay at Caxton House. Plan to come again and would recommend to anyone.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this beatiful hotel.
We were greeted by Wendy who was so friendly and who gave us a tour of the hotel and showed us to our room and we were then brought drinks and cake to our room, which was so thoughtful and kind.
Wendy and Paul were such lovely hosts and so friendly, nothing was too much trouble, it was an absolute pleasure to stay here, and they were both so lovely with our Son and included him in everything and let him feed the fish, which he loved.
Our room was beautiful and absolutely spotlessly clean and so comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious, the homemade jams and fresh fruit were lovely.
The hotel is in a lovely, quiet area but still close to the beach and town and has such a lovely relaxed feeling
We cant wait to come back again . Thank you.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here but I took my boyfriend this time. We had a beautiful double room with a balcony. It's only 2 minutes to the beach and seafront. Wendy & Paul are brilliant hosts, they find out what your interests are & recommend local attractions that they have tried. Food is first rate, I'm a veggie which was accommodated without question or fuss. Although we didn't have kids we saw Wendy and Paul making an effort with families - dinosaur shaped toast for the little ones - genius !!! Just a lovely tranquil place to stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Try the homemade jams at breakfast even if you have the full English as they are to die for. Worth every penny.

I stayed with my partner for a one night stay in skegness. The hosts are a lovely couple who were so welcoming and made you feel at home. They use aloe Vera plant ALOT and use lots of local produce which was nice. The rooms are ok not the best I've stayed in but far from the worst, for what you pay they are good. You don't need to take shampoo, conditioner or soap with you because Wendy keeps it topped up with aloe Vera shampoo, conditioner and soap! Breakfast was very nice and a perfect start to the day. Really lovely people here and a nice stay. Only problem I did have was my car got scratched by another guest whilst there but that is no fault of theirs.
