Excellent hotel, excellent staff and owners are very welcoming, stayed there with my girlfriend and our 18 month little boy and we were catered for better than any other hotel I have stayed in, location is very very handy, everything can be found right outside hotel basically, when I go back to skegness I'll definitely be staying at this hotel. Got to be a contender for best hotel in Skegness.

Just spent a nice weekend in Skeg vegas, We went on spec due to the good unexpected Bank Holiday weather, we got to skeg and parked the car then started to find a place to stay - saw the Queens so thought it would do, and it did , nice clean ensuite double room + breakfast for £70. No complaints !!!!!

Having just spent the weekend in Skegness, I am happy to recommend the Queens as budget accommodation. On arrival I was greeted by the owners who were friendly and welcoming. There's also a big parrot to greet you as you come in and out! Downstairs the Queens has a nice bar, lounge and dining room all of which were to a good standard. It also has an enviable location – right opposite the pier and with an attractive garden for guests to enjoy. My room (15) was sadly in need of a complete refurbishment. As someone in the hotel trade it is easy to be critical, but I recognise the difficult trading conditions in which the Queens operates. It has to cope with seasonal demand, low room rates, commission to agents and coach parties that expect the world but pay nearly nothing. For many guest house owners the priority is keeping their heads above water rather than financing major refurbishment. Skegness has generally has seen better days and the Queens is on a par with most of the accommodation available.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the balcony rooms at the front.

My husband and I had a coach holiday here, we found the food excellent, service very good. BUT.There was no heating in the bathroom, so the towels were always wet as they were not changed in the 4 days we were there. We found the lounge cold, the bar was cold as well. This was a Turkey and Tinsel holiday were was the Xmas and New Year parties? every night was the same thing. The entertainers were good. We seemed to do nothing but spend money in the evening, bingo(expensive) football cards, bonus ball card. Its a shame there is not a ramp for wheelchair users, though space was made for my husband in the dining room and bar.And to top it all there was dog muck in the front garden UGH! We will not be going back,We have made a complaint to the coach company.PS It was all money money money!
