The location of the Karema is its best feature. 5 minutes to the pier / beach, and handy for some nice Italian restaurants on Roman Bank. Adequate free parking and spotlessly clean too.
We booked at last minute for one night, and didn't want to spend too much so we were limited, however, most reviews were positive so we gave it a go.
The rooms (2 & 7) twin & double were very clean, but both en suites were extremely small and difficult to manoeuvre in. Room 2 had a pump on the toilet which was quite noisy.
The mattress in the double (7) was strange, like a memory foam but not very comfortable at all.
The bed side lights are magic, touch operation to turn on low, medium, high and off.
The breakfast was ok, but the tea and coffee were terrible. The water is ok at Skegness so not sure why the beverages were so bad. The owners were friendly enough, but we wont be rushing back!! Definitely worth spending an extra couple of quid and get extra comfort and tea and coffee you can drink.
