Stopped in one of the newer model caravans on Sunrise - lovely caravan in a lovely area of the park. Great facilities - restaurant / bar / swimming pool / shop / play areas / show bar/ slot machines - Park itself kept very clean and maintained well

Stayed on a super pitch in the touring area, well spaced out pitches with waste & fresh water services on each pitch.
The toilet block was very clean & warm & never too busy that you had to wait for a shower.
There is a dog walk on site that runs around the edge of part of the park that is clean & well looked after.
The amienitys on site, clubhouse, resteraunt, pool which is heated are clean & well looked after.
There is a service bus every hour that will take you into Skegness on site.
We don't normally use large sites like these, but was plesantly surprised of how much we enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed at southview with our touring caravan for 4 nights have loved every minute and cant fault this park for anything the site is clean and tidy lakes and ponds throughout several childrens parks and a large show bar aswell as a bar and restaurant. The touring pitches are a good size and the layout is great. Shower blocks are always clean and they even have a bath which is handy for bathing the kids. We have enjoyed our break that much that we have booked to return in july for 7 days.

This is our 6th time at Southview. We stay in the Vintage area by the hotel. The park is clean and well kept. We love our evening strolls around the lakes. This year there were a pair of black swans. We even saw a pair of barn owls in adjacent field. The bus into Skegness runs from the site and the bus to Lincoln stops across the main road. All very handy.

We had booked one of the Merlin lodges for a group of 3 couples. On arrival at the park we couldn't check in as we were too early. The reception staff were very friendly and gave us our passes so that we could use the facilities and suggested we go for a drink first. We entered the showbar which we didn't realise was closed at the time. We did however use the toilets and they didn't give a good first impression.A large mirror was smashed and there was water all over the floor from a faulty urinal that was leaking, toilets wouldn't flush either as no water was getting to the tanks because of the leak. We then moved onto the boathouse which was a lot better and the food, drink and service was very good. We then went back to check in and got our key. ( Only one for a group of six adults) The park is very large and it was a bit tricky to find our lodge but even more confusing is that there are no clear signs for how to exit the park and when you are surrounded by caravans that all look very similar navigation can be a problem. The lodge itself was very well equipped but there were a few snags that were a bit surprising as these are supposed to be new: Worktop trim missing, window catches missing and no plug attached to bathroom sink ( found a spare one in cupboard in the utility room as we were leaving). We did try to give the entertainment a visit but the bar was too busy and we couldn't get a seat so went to the hotel reception bar. The park itself is lovely but I don't think I could recommend it for a long stay, it must be very difficult to get served during peak season.
