We have just returned from a wonderfull stay at The Crawford Hotel we thoroughy enjoyed our stay at this hotel thanks to the owners Julie and Mark who are the most obliging and lovely couple nothing is an effort to them they will do all they can to accommodate you.

They have recently refurbished the hotel and are still doing some minor work to it, the rooms are all decorated differently which we thought was a great touch instead of all rooms being the same decor.and the beds and pillows are heavenly

The bar is a lovely place to sit and have a drink it has a large assortment of drinks.

The breakfast is real value for money you have a choice of juices and cereal plus a full english breakfast which is served to you piping hot.

They also have a heated swimmimg pool jacuzzi and sauna which is an added bonus.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone once again we would like to thank Julie and Mark for a wonderful week-end

Room Tip: Any room as they are all lovely

Myself and my castmates checked into the Crawford after experiencing three nights in the awful court apartments next door.
As renovation was going on Mark and Julie gave us a cut price deal and I have to say we had three of the best nights of our tour.
Two of our cast were given the amazing premium rooms that were nothing less than 5 star. My room was one of the standard rooms and was delightful. The bed was comfy and I had three of the best nights sleeps Ive ever had. I was also greeted to massive fluffy towels that having barely got bed sheets next door was a lovely sight to be met with..
After checking in we immediately went to the pool. The owners were more than happy for us to use it till the early hours. We had a swim and hot tub and found ourselves almost in a dream that these incredible surroundings could be given to us at such an incredible price.

On the night we arrived we also joined the hosts for drinks in the bar. The bar itself has been newly refurbished and has a stunning Burlesque theme. The drinks on draught were lovely and there was no end to Mark and Julie’s hospitality, we sat, chatted, drank and were treated to various bites to eat, as the pair took great care to tend to our every need. As musicians it would have been rude not to go and use the grand piano in the restaurant and Mark and Julie were more than happy for us to play as much as we like.
As my friend and I were about to go back to our rooms to play on our playstation Mark revealed they had one in the bar and so we spent yet another hour playing fifa on the massive 50 inch screen.

Breakfast the next morning was served until 11 and was absolutely delicious, again, any request was met as our hosts continued to amaze us with there care in making our stay special.
In the evening we treated our hosts to tickets to our show and they repaid by laying on a party for the entire cast. As it was our final big night of a year tour, they layed on food for all of us and we drank champagne and swam till the early hours. Id love to relay the evening to you but words cannot describe it. All I will say is it was one of the best nights of my life.

To anyone on the fence about maybe spending slightly extra on a hotel in Skegness (I don’t even know if its more expensive but it damn well should be) I would like to put your mind at rest. This hotel is amazing,.Its owners are incredible people and you will not be disappointed by spending your money in this fine establishment. If I am ever staying close to this area I will be returning and would like to repeat the quote that lies on the reception desk “enter strangers, leave friends” Thank you for a great stay!!!

The hotel is nice. We stayed in a standard double room which is very small but it was simple and clean. There is free parking near the hotel too and the location is great!

When we arrived it took the owners at least 5 minutes to answer the front door even though they knew what time we was arriving! Julie showed us to our room but didn't mention anything about breakfast or show us around the hotel.

The swimming pool...when we went to use the pool we went to reception to ask where it was. We rang the bell many times and waited approx 10 mins before having to ring the owners.
Julie took us to the swimming pool.......SHE TOOK US throuh THE KITCHEN and through a BUILDING SITE and WASHING ROOM in the PITCH BLACK! I could not believe it!!
When we went in the pool we had to help the owner open the pool top! please be aware there is nowhere to change in the pool room.

So overall it was a nice hotel and we enjoyed ourselves but the service was awful and it was clear the owners were inexperienced.

Room Tip: Please ask any questions as soon as you meet the owners as you wont see them again until breakfast u...

I have just spent the weekend here and yes it is still under renovation but it didn't affect us.
The owners are very friendly and can't do enough for you. They have a great mischievous black Labrador dog who I could have kidnapped.
Our bedroom was recently decorated and furnished well. The beds are very comfortable and we slept like logs. Best two nights sleep I have had for some time.
Breakfast is excellent suited to you time wise which is a brownie point from me.
All in all we had a great time and would like to see this place again in a years time when Mark + Julie have put their stamp on it.
I am a trip advisor contributor who always judges places fairly so this another true opinion. If I am ever back in Skegness I would stay here again. It is well worth a try viewers.

We've stayed in Skegness several times but wanted to try and find somewhere a bit more 'boutique-style'.

The location of the hotel is excellent – sea-fronted and only about a 5 minute walk to get in to the thick of things. The hotel itself does not have car park but parking is available on the road out front.

The Crawford is currently undergoing major renovation, something we were not aware of at the time of booking, but this did not cause us any problems. The current owners, Julie & Mark, have only been there for 12 weeks but the amount of work that has already been undertaken is to a very high standard & quality. The bed must be the most comfortable one I have ever slept in!!!

Breakfast was very well presented and very tasty – would have preferred plain pork sausages instead of Lincolnshire, but that’s just personal choice.

I think this hotel will be a little gem once all the renovation work has been completed and I can’t wait to get back and see if all their hard work pays off.
