Found this little gem after one week, looking for great tasty food. The place was very quiet however it was early in the evening. I had Chicken and Bacon in BBQ Sauce and it was very nicely cooked. The homemade chips were lovely too. There was a lot of choice on the menu. Will definitely go again next year and try the Sunday Carvery.

Great Sunday dinner. Hubby's rhubarb and apple pie with custard was a huge portion. Something you wouldn't find in a Toby. Great value for money.

Went here for all our meals whilst in Skegness. Fred the owner is a great bloke, really friendly. Food was fantastic, great choice and value for money. Peaceful place to sit outside in July n enjoy the surroundings. Would highly recommend Charnwood especially the sunday Carvery.

The best eating out place in Skegness.A little off the beaten track, but it is well worth the visit for great quality food at a great price.Homemade specials from curries to pies of the week.I recommend chicken in white wine & basil a firm favourite of mine.A great varied menu all cooked by the resident chef Dean.!!! Will be back soon.

We had the most lovely Sunday Carvery at this country pub Ignore the road signs that say the road is closed because that does not affect getting to this pub. The welcome was friendly and there was a good choice of vegetables to go with the very tasty meat. The whole meal was very reasonably priced and well worth it I would highly recommend this if you are in the area we will certainly visit again
