Lesley and Alan have created a home from home which is just what you need when on the road with work. Exceptional hospitality and service topped off by a great breakfast made to order. Highly recommended!!!

I stayed here for one night. I was made to feel welcome straightaway. I had the single room and it was a good size room with everything you could need and the en-suite bathroom was also a good size. The towels were soft and fluffy and the bed very comfy. There was even hot chocolate and horlicks as well as the usual tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was cooked fresh rather than kept warm and was a very generous portion with plenty of lovely hot toast. I couldn't eat it all but I wanted to! This couple couldn't be friendlier or more welcoming and would definitely go back next time I visit Skegness.

Lesley was very welcoming at Clarence House. Our room (room 6) was very spacious and clean, we had a sea view and a four poster bed, which was very comfortable. The bathroom was of a very good size with lovely white fluffy bath sheets. We met Allen at breakfast and he was also very welcoming. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of chioce in cereals, fruit, yogurt, and of course the full english, which was cooked to order and was hot and plentyful. Plenty of fruit juice, coffee and toast, what more could you want!!! Clarence House is excelent value for money, and would definitely stay here again. A perfect place to stay in a perfect location.

Everything about our stay was great. The room was really spacious, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits replenished daily and we had comfortable beds.
The breakfast was freshly prepared and was more than I could manage.
Lesley and Allan were extremely helpful, offering to make breakfast early as we had to leave by a certain time. Lesley also gave us information on the best parking spots which meant we didn't have to pay.
We have stayed in Skegness before but further away from the main attractions so it was great to find that Clarence House was within easy walking distance of shops, cafés and the beach. The weather was good too!
I would definitely recommend Clarence House Hotel as a comfortable and friendly place to stay.

We spent 3 nights in the family room..2 adults, 2 children. good sized room and bathroom, well situated for the beach, and the kids loved looking at the illuminations from the window, Lovely welcome. Breakfast filling, a really nice touch having a waffle included in the kids' breakfast, and giving them loaf crusts to feed the ducks on the boating lake. while we were there another family's son had a birthday and they came down to breakfast to find balloons and pressie on their table. will definitelt return with or without children.

Just returned from 3 nights in a family room with a sea view. The room was very well presented, very clean, very comfortable beds and included tea, coffee and biscuits. Lesley and Allan were very attentive to our needs and the breakfast was second to none.
The location is perfect, a short walk to the centre yet far enough away to have peace and quiet and enjoy a good nights sleep.

I shall definitely be returning and would have no hesitation in recommending these wonderful hosts to my family and friends. A little gem on the East Coast.

Room Tip: Sea views are great!

Our stay at Clarence House was exceptional! Lesley and Allan were perfect hosts and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The location was ideal as it was on the seafront and within close proximity to the shops, restaurants, bars and the Embassy Theatre. The room we had overlooked the sea and was very clean and tidy. The en suite bathroom was generous in size to. Lesleys breakfasts in the morning were very fresh and tasty as they were cooked to order. We would have no hesitation in staying at the Clarence House in the future!
