Must start by saying that Trip Advisor and the management at "Frankie & Benny's", should sort the reviews out! It seems in general "Frankie & Benny's" receives poor reviews (rated 85) and the incorrectly named "Frankie & Bennies" receives good reviews (rated 39), even though it's the same place!!!
My wife and I visited one afternoon mid week, there were approximately a dozen other diners in. We were seated after a short wait. First impressions; very nicely laid out with mainly seating booths, very clean, easy listening music, altogether a nice and friendly atmosphere. I prefer this set up to their main competitor's TGI'Fridays.
We chose from their 2 courses for £12 menu, plenty of selection. The starters arrived after a short time, pulled pork in potato skins and crab bruschetta, both very nice and tasty. For the main dish we tried their "Ultimate Hot Dog", again, very tasty and filling, a nice choice as I do not usually bother with the usual plastic frankfurter type sausage.
All the staff we encountered were friendly and well presented, it is obvious that effort is made in their turn out. We also spoke to the very friendly and professional manager, Kirsty and complimented her on the restaurant, staff and meal.
Overall, a very good dining experience, we will definitely be returning in the near future.
