The kids love it, it's a nice walk around on a warm day. It's a good exercise track to jog around too. Bring refreshments as when you've started walking around, it's a long way back for a drink!

My son loves to go and feed the ducks, so its good for children as their is also a small play area. however when I say small I mean really small. the shop their is overpriced an sometimes doesnt have duck feed which is annoying when they dont like you to bring your own. On a sunny day its lovely for a gentle stroll, and visit quiet often as it is close by, however I doubt I would go out of my way to visit this place.

We organised a camping rally for friends and family at Thrybergh country park campsite.
It is a lovely campsite mainly aimed at campers and caravan, but tents are welcome with a prior arrangement.
The children of our group were able to play in the woods and we had a mass cricket match on the field close by.
The toilets, showers and pot washing facilities were excellent and cleaned ever day we were there, without being closed for use!
There is a nice walk around the lake.
Shops close by and although only some of our group use the cafe, they said it was lovely.

A lovely serene place for a jog, a walk, or just to visit the cafe and feed the ducks! Often visit here for the above things, especially to jog as the length is perfect.

Why would reception close for lunch surely someone could cover for an hour would be a idea to state what time it it reopens after lunch instead of keeping people guessing
