We spent a weekend here whilst the girls were competing locally. The staff were all very good especially Elizabeth who was absolutely fantastic and helped us regardless of what we needed.
Situated next to a Beefeater restaurant and if you dont fancy that, there was a fish and chip shop close by and its right next to a sainsburys local store and opposite a Tesco's garage for those little odds and ends. A tiny bit further afield there is a big Morrisons and a number of other pubs and restaurants, so ideal location to stay.
Its on a main road but we never heard a thing as we had a room at the back. View was not so good but then this did not matter as we were not in the room that much.
The staff in adjoining Beefeater, where we had breakfast, we all excellent and very firendly. All youngsters but more than helpful when needed.
This hotel seems to have had a recent upgrade but not sure it was noticable. Rooms could do with some air con as we foud them really hot, even in January. So not sure I would want to be there in the middle of summer. But never the less a really good hotel overall and typical of the Premierinn standard. Car park could do with some attention and with being a bit bigger and there was abrown stain on the room carpet that really shold have been sorted out before our arrival although they did offer us another room.
