My wife and I ate dinner at The Green Room on two nights running. The restaurant is modern and very pleasant with plenty of room around the tables. On both evenings the service was excellent.
On night one my wife began with Deep fried goats cheese - £6.00p and pronounced it very good. I chose Crispy squid - £6.50p. It was fresh, tender. cut in chunks and was very good indeed.
For mains we both decided upon Fillet steak which came with flat mushroom, tomato and french fries - £26.00p each. It was an excellent choice. A simple dish very well prepared. Nothing better.
The following night my wife began with Garlic bread - £4.00p and for mains ate a Pork Wellington - £15.00p. Both we much enjoyed. I repeated the meal I ate the previous evening with similar results.
On both nights we shared a bottle of 42 Baluarte - £24.50p which was very good value.
Would we go again - we did and we would again.
