Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the George and we are still trying to sort it out. During the check-in we were told our credit card was not valid and then we provided reception with another card on request (different bank account). To our surprise when we returned home, we noticed that they had charged both accounts with the total amount (double charge). We forwarded them by email proofs of payment of both accounts and all sorts of evidence and got no reply. Then, we phoned and they requested us to email it again. No reply. After another phone call (from Spain were we live) we double checked with them whether the email address was correct, however, we got failure messages since they had provided us with a wrong email address...
We have now turned to our bank and we are still trying to recover our money by other means. Despite several emails and phone calls, they have shown no will /interest whatsoever to try and sort out this issue (double charge). We still think that we should to leave this review for the record.More
