“Very Relaxing, Good Value Day”
Review of Aqua Springs

Visited on a Monday for a Birthday treat. I have been before on many occasions just to use the spa pools, saunas and steam rooms and have always loved it here. From the outside it is nothing special but the inside has been done really well, pool and rooms and always hot, and there is a nice variety with salt rooms and hydrotherapy baths. On this occasion I opted to go for a Spa Day package for a birthday treat which was exceptional value and the service provide very good - £60 for spa entry (All Day), 1/2 Hour Manicure or Pedicure, 1/2 Hour Facial, 1/2 Hour Back massage. There is a small cafe with jacket potatos and sandwiches but if your planning on staying and having lunch I would advise you pre book it when you arrive in the morning.

We got membership as at 12/14£ a go, go 4 times in a month and it pays for itself. However, it could be cleaner, the saunas have funny smells from time to time, the salt room has a tendency to smell of damp (one man used some orange oil in the steam taps once and that was beautifulllll)... The pools are far too chlorinated, more than an average swimming pool. Staff are always friendly and lovely, :) could do with updating and reminding visitors of etiquette, I'm not a snob but some behaviour in there is not what I want to see whilst sharing a pool with them :)

Aqua springs is a great little spa, which offers a small selection of saunas and steam rooms. There is also a great little jacuzzi when you enter the spa area.
There is a small lunch menu which is very well priced, and very tasty.
It's also not badly priced for what they have to offer, I would definitely return.

For what it is, Aqua Springs is mega expensive. There is not much in the way of privacy in any area and the noise can sometimes be really terrible.
