“Fish and chips at its best”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Fish and chips. The fish tasted fresh and it was made to order with the restaurants own batter. Not a fancy place but great food and good service.

“dislike the waitress”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

I bought chips and soft drink from this shop.It was ok. But, I dislike when I asked to my son to sit down while I was waiting for the chips, I was with heavy shop bag and I decided to eat inside on the table my son 4 years old was waiting...the waitress looked to me twice saying Sorry it's to take away (almost asking for me to leave), and there were plenty of free table there. no sense!
DISLIKE this treatment! The food can be good, but I'll think twice to go there again!

“Best in town”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

This has to be the very best chippie in town. It is well hidden, but when I found it I was very happy. Really good fish and excellent service.

“Best chippy in colchester”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

I've been here many times for the special lunch deal - £2 for sausage or cod bite and chips. Always freshly cooked and good size portion for the money. Best chips I've had from any chip shop in the country!
