This hotel would have been a fantastic building in its heyday, but it is certainly dated and careworn now. Finding it was a bit inconvenient as we were given postcode for front door - which is a long drive around to the rear door and car park: we were given a different postcode to find car park!
We were holding a training event for twenty learners and the hotel staff were very helpful. We needed a place with broadband for 20 and the came up trumps (unlike the other places we had used on our UK tour). Tables were organised and miles of extension cables supplied. On the downside, they forgot drinks at lunch time.
Also, the hotel broadband did not work in my room which was quite inconvenient as I was trying to prepare for training event. A night porter was dispatched to my room who asked me to check it was not working, looked confused, and apologised before leaving.
Finally, the toilet appeared to have been put in a cupboard space!More
