“A brilliant lunch and afternoon”
Reviewed 31 October 2012

Although we were concerned and there wasn't a huge selection of meals for lunch, we were very impressed with the quality and size of the meals.
After lunch we were tempted to stay when the large open fire was lit.
The bar staff are very friendly and we chatted to them most of the afternoon.
We were even offered a lift home at the end, although I cannot be sure that will happen to you too.. ;-)

“Good food, friendly service”
Reviewed 23 October 2012

We passed the greyhound as we were out on the bikes and fancied some dinner so decided to go in to see if they were still serving lunch.
We sat outside as it was quite a nice day and the lady behind the bar who i assumed was the owner was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
We decided on the fish and chips which was approx £8 and glad we did as it was fantastic, Really good size fish and plenty of chips and salad (or mushy peas) to go with it. Excellent food and very nice welcoming staff which was a bonus. We will definately be returning and telling our friends too.

“Good food and very friendly”
Reviewed 19 September 2012

Always a warm welcome here, nice burning fire in the winter, food is very nice, the ice creams are divine!. Great place to bring the children! games machine, pool table and darts. Always a pleasure to go back. Took a 'chef' friend along (not always easy to please for meals) and he loved it!
