“Another great visit”
Reviewed 28 February 2014

I have just returned from a 3 week stay at The Elms. I've been coming here for 4 years and I feel that this is my home away from home. The Elms is under new ownership now and the transition between hosts is going well. You can always be assured that things are clean and that your breakfast is freshly cooked. The breakfast room has been redone and is quite bright and cheery. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

This is a lovely home from home environment. The owners do anything to make a welcoming atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is exceptional, freshly cooked, fresh ingredients and a very high standard; sadly this morning I wasnt hungry enough to go a full english so made do with tea and toast. My room was comfortable and what I needed. I will naturally return in the New Year.

Room Tip: This is not a chain, its a very nice place to stay without the glossy brochures promising but not de...

This was our second time staying here, we paid £60 for a twin en suite room, when we arrived we realised that as it was mid week there were parking restrictions. We were shown to our room number 20 which was the same one we'd stayed in a couple of years ago, this consisted of a huge bed and a single, the room is clean but eclectically adorned! Decor is old fashioned The beds are comfortable and the bathroom adequate although the shower kept running hot and cold, The guest house is well run and the breakfast superb although far too early for us at 0700-0800am as we were hoping for a bit of a lie in after the gig. The parking was a bit of a problem but the owners did their best and arranged for us to park our car next door. The house is very close to the town and ideally situated for events at the corn exchange. We will def use this b&b every time we visit Bedford

Very enjoyable stay with lovely hosts - breakfast was delicious. Choices were above and beyond reasonable expectations for a b & b. Comfortable room and very clean, dont need much more. Probably being mean not giving a five but it is close! Parking could be an issue from Monday to Saturday 8-6pm.
