Description: Come and try the new taste of Bedford with traditional Vietnamese food, an affordable and healthy way of eating. Vietnamese food is commonly ranked among one of the world's most healthiest cuisines. Usage of many diverse vegetables and herbs coupled with fresh ingredients and seafood, creating dishes like the seafood hot pot, Vietnamese pancakes, fresh rice paper crystal rolls, a range of noodle soups and a variety of spicy seafood dishes in a Vietnamese style. Family run business. Authentic Vietnamese food. Absolutely tasty food and an experience not to be missed out. We have our menu throughout the day and also the lunch menu between 12pm-2pm. We have the facilities for discos, parties and karaoke. We also deliver within MK40, MK41, MK42.

I visited Que Huong on Thursday 31st July in a party of 5.Sadly during the sky ration of our visit we were the only people in the quite cavernous venue, which made the atmosphere suffer somewhat.Despite this, the food and service were excellent, the two young front of house staff were friendly and attentive, and were happy to make recommendations about the food etc. The food itself was lovely, fresh and flavourful. The meat spring rolls have a nice crunch, whilst my main of crackling roast pork was some of the best pork I've ever had.I have already recommended Que Huong to many or my friends, and will definitely visit again.

Four of us went there as we were meeting my daughter in Bedford and wanted an early evening meal. We arrived as they opened at 5.30 and I think we were the only guests at that time. The restaurant has a narrow frontage, but is cavernous once you are inside. The decor is distinctly Asian. The service was friendly and helpful. Between us, we ordered BBQ spare ribs, Special Vietnamese Pancake and Roast Crackling Pork Noodles. The portions were adequate, tasty and well cooked, without being memorable, but it was a welcome change to try some new dishes. Most main dishes are £7.00 to £8.50, so good value. They have some more exciting dishes on the menu, which we might have tried if we'd been hungrier and had more time.

We went here on a Friday evening and although there were a few tables occupied, it seems quiet and lacking atmosphere due to the place being so big.

The menu mainly consists of rice & noodle dishes and some sharing bowls where you can cook your own. I was a bit disappointed there were no curries on offer as I'd previously had a fantastic Vietnamese Curry in a place in Shoreditch.

Food was ok but nothing special, tasty enough (helped by the addition of the chilli sauce on the table), good portions, reasonably priced and the Vietnamese beer was nice.

Service was good, staff were friendly & helpful.

There were cards on the tables advising of discounts on your next visit for Facebook likes and positive TripAdvisor reviews, so I suspect that's why the restaurant has such glowing reviews and features so highly in the charts for Bedford.

As it was we left satisfied with the food & service, but didn't have the outstanding experience we were expecting from the reviews we read before going.

Thank you for your review but there are issues here I have to address for potential customers.

There are no discounts for positive reviews, there were discounts for any reviews but we have removed them as this is against Tripadvisor rules so your suspicion is absolutely wrong. We do not give anything extra for positive reviews. We just thank customers when they come in the next time.

It seems strange that you found no curries on offer as we've had these for quite a while and have a special menu, which is in the drinks menu where you found the information on Facebook likes, dedicated to curries especially. The staff will gladly assist you if needed in future.

In regards to the chilli sauce, unfortunately we do not have the ability to guess the spicy tolerance of customers in each case so we prepare dishes for the majority and leave fish, soy and chilli sauce on the tables to tweak to their perfect taste.

We visited this restaurant based on the reviews on Trip Advisor, and when we arrived at 7 pm on a Thursday were greeted to a dark and empty restaurant. As soon as we stepped inside the staff turned on the lights, and we were sat at a table. We ordered meat spring rolls to start, which were, unfortunately just tiny, store bought frozen spring rolls. The mains I ordered was mixed crispy pork and spring rolls with noodles, which I thought was quite tasty. The other main was a crispy pork and prawn pho soup, which was disappointing. All in all an OK experience.

Thank you for your 3/5 rating as comments like that from other reviewers would've gave us 2/5. :)

We sometimes leave the lights off to save electricity when there are no customers in the restaurant as it's quite a big restaurant and does require a lot of energy. Maybe it's strange for customers but we will review this process. :)

The meat spring rolls are not bought frozen, we make them ourselves.

Hope we see you again! :)
