The best thing about our stay here was the breakfast but for £50 for a twin room we were expecting a higher standard of cleanliness and better facilities. Our room was somewhat tired and the furniture needs updating but the bedding and towels were clean. The hosts were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating, although the 10 am check-out felt too early. Soap in the toilets would be a good addition! Ridgmont is a lovely village.

What a great find ! My Dad and sister just spent a night here and it was excellent. The breakfast consisted of full English - beans, 2 sausages, 2 bacon rashers, 2 eggs perfectly cooked, toast, tomatoes, mushrooms and juice. There was cereal too if you wanted it. Tea and Coffee (also available in your room). Comfy beds. Good pub next door. And such a beautiful converted Wesleyan Chapel - if you like architecture you'll love to stay here. They will be staying there again soon !

Room Tip: Rooms 6 and 7 have a lovely full bathroom next door, with washbasins in each room also

The location of the guesthouse is in a sleepy typical old English village with all the quaint charm that is associated with that, It provides a quiet retreat that is not far from the suburbs. My room was clean and comfortable and the hosts were both amenable and exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is private parking at the rear and breakfast was wonderful, nothing too much trouble. The local pub located next door provide real value for money tasty meals and I found the landlady and staff to be lovely.
The accommodation is excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend it, have no complaints whatsoever.

I found the village location charming and the guest house comfortable. My room was above the café. Despite a cooking smell it was a clean room, well-equipped with tea and coffee and towels. There is free wifi. Sylvia is lovely, very helpful. This accommodation is excellent value for money. The pub next door serves tasty and great value food.

dirty, and a little smelly.Worst of all there is a sleep walking patron who can come into your room during the night, really Hallowen stuff. Only stayed because it was contractor booked, on my own or with family no way. Breakfast OK for workmen on early start I guess.

Room Tip: don't do it.
