“Excellent Value and good location”

UsualPremier Inn hotel. Reasonable sized family room with 2 good single beds for the boys and double for me. Breakfast was good, having paid for full english for me the two boys ate for nothing. Not bad continental selection with fresh fruit salad available along with cereals etc. Staff veryfriendly. Location great 5 mins walk from cinema, 5 mins from Russel Park and river.
To be recommended.

Friendly staff, restuarant next door was nice but breakfast a bit pricey ( £7.99 each) we had a nice three day stay in this hotel and have been there before.

It was a good location for what we wanted to do.

Outstanding value for money. Very friendly and well trained staff.

Bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and well kept.

Restaurant was good value for money and the service staff were attentive.

Overall experience was better than many 4star hotels ive stayed in.

Ist ever stay in a Premier Inn and was very impressed - will definitely stay again. One thing though, don't serve tinned plum tomatoes with a cooked breakfast - grilled only please!!

Great, value-for-money hotel. Clean, tidy rooms. The location next to a huge Wildlife Trust lake a bonus. Some on here have whinged about the breakfast. My experience was the opposite. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. A magnificent continental style buffet table with a terrific choice of food, followed by a fine Full English. By the way zoe A, cooking eggs to order, whether they be scrambled, poached, fried or boiled, is one of the most difficult things a breakfast chef (or indeed anyone!) is called upon to do. I used to be a chef and covered the breakfast shift on many occasions. For you to get your perfect scrambled, poached egg etc. there would have to be one chef solely dedicated to the egg-side of things - and then you'd have to pay more for your breakfast. For #7.99 it's an absolute bargain. (My poached was spot on, by the way). As for miserable waiting staff - again, I beg to differ. Considering that they probably have to get up at 5.30am to serve (quite often, I imagine) a bunch of long-faced grumpy residents (who've only just got out of their nice warm beds), I thought they were brilliantly cheerful and accommodating, particularly when you consider that they are probably on very low wages - way below the income of the people they are serving, I imagine. Someone said no honey? I had two slices of toasted granary smothered in the sweet stuff - amongst many other delights. Thoroughly recommended.

Really lovely location and great welcome. Rooms of good standard and good value for money! Would defintiely recommend and stay again.
Only grievance is a long wait for breakfast the next morning and eggs could be a better standard of cooking! - Poached were hard and Scrambled was like re-warmed omelette chopped up - improve and be great for 100% satisfaction!

You know what to expwct at a Premier Inn, decent clean room with not many frills and that's what this one proovides. The setting in the country park is a welcome bonus and the evening meal in the Beefeater next door was excellent.

The only downside to our two night stay was the cooked breakfast and the miserable waiting staff. The sausages were burnt, egg shell in the scrambled egg and bacon you needed a chain saw to cut through.
