“Great cafe, amazing food and lovely staff”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

My girlfriend and I visited this cafe as we were after some late breakfast on a Sunday lunchtime and couldn't decide for love nor moeny what to pick from the delightful looking menu. The full breakfast looked mouthwatering and the salmon and scrambled eggs smelt phenomenal too. In the end we settled on the special of the day each, a Reggae Reggae minced lamb burger with sweet potato fries. And are we happy we did?!?! It was hands down one of the tastiest, juiciest burgers I've ever eaten and I'm not much of a burger fan if truth be told. It was busy but there wasn't a wait thankfully and the staff were delightful, never rushing us and allowing us to happily spend a few hours there while refilling our tea pot numerous times. Prices were very reasonable and 2 main meals, 3 pots of tea and a couple of fruit juices were all less than £25. Cannot wait to go back soon

“They moved a while ago”
Reviewed 21 May 2014 via mobile

First time at the new location - right next door to the old one. Best location that I know for breakfast for your full English or eggs benedict (for e.g., the menu's pretty broad). Honestly, searched high and low for somewhere like this for years. Consistently good too, must gave been to the old location 12+ times. No difference in quality in the new much bigger spot. Always get a free top up of my earl grey tea and congratulations from the owner for finishing the full English. Not necessary - I've eaten bigger but rarely better. Lunch type stuff too - jsckets, burgers etc.

“Decent cafe”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Went last week on one of my work breaks. Food was nice but I was left waiting for it longer than expected. Very nice for the price range though.

“Could be great but it isn't.”
Reviewed 26 April 2014 via mobile

I was really looking forward to a Full English here having read the reviews but I left a little disappointed. The food was ok but it wasn't as brilliant as other people have made out and the service by the very nice and polite young staff was woefully slow and they kept forgetting things. Waited over 30 minutes for my breakfast which might be acceptable if I was dining at the Midland French but it's not when I just want bacon and eggs.
