The hotel is not at Terminal 5,it is a quite a distance and the hoppa bus is is 9.00 pounds return. Most of the staff have very limited understanding of the English langauge. Upon checkout I was refused a copy of my bill as i had booked it through a 3rd party. Never heard of that before. Suffice it to say I will not be staying in this hotel again.

Best way to get here seems to be the Hoppa bus #55 which serves this hotel and a nearby Marriott. It runs at 30 minute intervals so you could have a fairly long wait, and it is not such a short ride. Drivers are courteous and helpful. Price L5 one way, look for ticket machines.
Rooms very clean and ultra modern as in shiny, bath all chrome glass and slick black tile.

We stayed for 2 nights, one at the beginning and one at the end of our holiday. The staff on the desk were very friendly and efficient.

The rooms 342 and 421 were very similar, being modern, bright, 2 single beds which were very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities (no biscuits) hair drier and free WiFi. We couldn't make up our minds whether there was a £9.99 charge for using the TV, but as we were very tired we didn't want to watch it anyway.

Both rooms had excellent double glazing, cutting out all outside noise and making the room very quiet. The rooms were rather warm so we used the air con fan during the night which made it a better temperature for sleeping.

The shower was large, spotlessly clean and provided shower gel and shampoo.

We had an evening meal of fish, chips and mushy peas. It was tasty. The portions were adequate, leaving room for Apple Flan with custard, which was one of the 3 deserts on offer. The others were profiteroles or ice cream. Although the flan had probably been heated in a microwave, going by the soft lattice pastry top, it was still tasty with the custard.

We missed breakfast on our first stay due to leaving at 4am for an early flight. We did have breakfast on our return stay. Its self service and there was an excellent choice. We went in at 7am and it was quiet, but soon got busy with it being a week day. The staff were very efficient and supply of food remained plentiful.

At the start of the holiday we were afraid the shuttle bus would make us late for check in, so the staff arranged a taxi for us. It cost £20 to take us to T5 and took less than 10 minutes. For our return from T5 to the hotel, we used the shuttle bus which was very efficient and cost £5 each. I believe a 'return' ticket would have worked out cheaper.

We would be happy to stay here again for any holiday starting from T5.

This hotel sounded great, terminal 5 with a breakfast included for an ok price.
We FINALLY got to terminal 5( by the way most people don't work apparently after 10pm in one of the biggest airports, so we had a lot of walking to do). So I terminal 5 after speaking to a few people, this hotel is NOT located at terminal 5! For a cab to the hotel it was about 29 pounds! I called British airways since I booked through them. The lady helping me contacted the hotel to see if I can get a refund... and that was a NO, because it was too close to the time of check in!
Well the hotel offered one cab company they work with to get us for 17 pounds one way. I said no. So we didn't end up going. Spending all this money just to get to the hotel, all we wanted to do was rest and they didn't even have a shuttle bus . I asked about why it said it was in terminal 5 in the write up when it wasn't, my question wasn't answered. She told me that it is written that it is a short distance to travel as it said in the write up. I said Yes, we have travelled enough from one terminal to the next whilst finally taking the heathrow express to terminal five, we didn't think there would be more travelling and more money spending. Well it didn't matter, we didn't get a refund and we didn't end up going to that hotel we were so angry....so we ended up staying at the Sofitel which is located in Terminal 5, and unfortunatlely having to pay ALOT for one night and a rude clerk. So this was the worst flight connection I've had, and I have travelled a lot!

Room Tip: If you want a hotel IN terminal 5, then don't choose this hotel. It's NOT in terminal 5. Unl...

We searched for a suitable hotel within easy reach of Heathrow Terminal 5 for an overnight which needed to be accessible via public transport from the airport. The Holiday Inn Express suited our requirements with a 30 minute Hopper-Bus service to the airport with a breakfast included on the morning of departure. On arrival check-in was very efficient with a helpful member of staff on the reception desk. The room was very clean, quiet, modern with a comfortable bed and had a good night’s sleep. Although there wasn’t a big choice at the breakfast buffet the following morning it was of a good quality with friendly helpful staff.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Clean, good staff, well equipped, decent breakfast and a completely SILENT room courtesy of the double double glazing. Handy shuttle bus to Heathrow but I used the local taxi firm 01753 711711 who were really reliable and well priced.

I used it to stay overnight before an early flight from Heathrow. Clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet... Well-connected with Heathrow airport via almost 24 h bus service, and with affordable car park. Nice surprise
