Different daily offers on good pub food.
Half price one day a week, had a curry, rice, naan bread and popadom for less than £3.
Old beamed pub with lively atmosphere.
Real ales and pork scratching too.
We'll worth a visit.

The staff were welcoming and friendly and the telephone booking was straightforward. The drinks were fine but the food was disappointing. Perhaps I'd set my expectations too high. I had ordered fish and chips. The batter on the fish was thick and dry and the small ramekin of peas seemed to have been over cooked in a microwave and the peas were dry and rubbery. This was a pity because there was a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere at the bar. I would visit again for a drink but not for food.

This pub is conveniently situated in the centre of Colnbrook, and offers a good selection of food and drink at extremely reasonable prices. Sometimes when cheap food is on offer, the quality can suffer - but that is most definitely not the case here. The dishes were sized generously and the quality was brilliant. The pub has a old-world feel to it, and the decor is reminiscent of a pub half a century ago or more. Perfect if you want a casual evening out, rather than getting dressed up for a restaurant etc. I enjoyed this and would definitely return.
