Stayed here as a central base for our golfing tour of Devon with seven others. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. All our party agreed that the restaurant food was very good and were very happy to make minor changes to accommodate our parties different dietary. requirements . Rooms were clean and dressed every day, although the single rooms were a little snug, but this was not a major issue, have stayed in a lot worse and paid more. Would be more than happy to stay here again. Good Location, Friendly Staff (who worked hard to make our brief stay enjoyable), Ideal Location, Good Quality Food and overall Good Value for Money.

Can't seem to find how to review the food here, but felt I had to write as their cream tea is appalling. The scones were not scones. They were huge, but not scones. The jam was out of those awful little mini jars. The clotted cream appeared to be still slightly frozen

We were attacked by seagulls before we could finish, which was a blessing in disguise. Couldn't even face finishing one scone, let alone two. What a waste of £14!

We were really disappointed to read your review, we are a small family run business which takes great pride and passion in our offering. Our scones are baked in house daily and clotted cream is delivered very day, we certainly do not freeze it. We would love the opportunity to speak to you in person if you would like to contact us directly.

Excellent hotel situated on the seafront at Sidmouth. We have stayed several times at the hotel. The staff are friendly, good service at breakfast and we stayed half-board with dinner included in the cost. Good meal choice at both breakfast and dinner. Hotel situated with walking distance of seafront, town and gardens.

Room Tip: Rooms with options can be chosen on the hotel's website.

This has been our second visit to this hotel, and we have been as impressed as ever.Situated directly on the seafront there is direct flat access down both sides of the promenade as well as the shops. The airy restaurant serves superb food-the menu changes completely every night with a tremendous choice-and breakfast is equally as good. The room we were allocated was clean and modern, with lovely sea views. There are plenty of buses with a wide range of destinations from the stop two minutes from the hotel. You need to request parking, but there seemed plenty of options nearby. Altogether a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Room Tip: Room 112 has good seaviews

This was our first visit to Sidmouth, and stayed at this hotel as it had been reccomended to us, We were not disappointed. The location was excellent overlooking the beach which was great for the kids,Being able to go in the sea and then back to the hotel. It was also next to the town centre so a stroll through the town and parks in the evening with the kids was lovely. The room we had was also overlooking the seafront, and although there had been some comments about the noise of the local seaguls they did not disturb any of us throughout our stay. The staff were helpful and pleasent, and nothing was too much of a problem. The afternoon tea was lovely (which we had most days) and the breakfast and eveing meals were really tasty. All in all we had a great time and would reccomend this hotel.

Had a wonderful stay in sidmouth . Lovely hotel very friendly staff nothing to much trouble. Located right on the front overlooking the see, lovely walks around the coast. The hotel has a family feel about it and the staff have a lovely attitude towards work.

This was our first visit. On arrival we were given a cup of tea/coffee and cake while our luggage was taken to our rooms. The hotel has a lovely dining room which looks out onto the sea front, lounges were you can read your papers and an outdoor patio. Our room was very spacious and light. The food was superb, plenty of choices each day and everything arrived at your table piping hot.On top of that we had fantastic weather.
