“Superb five night stay at Pinn Cottage.”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

We have just returned from a five night stay at Pinn Cottage. This was our first visit to Kim and Peter's beautiful B & B. Brian and I stayed in Room 1, which overlooked the beautiful front garden where we watched the early morning antics of the wildlife with glee. Our room was of an exceptional standard and spotlessly clean as was the whole cottage and decorated in beautiful pastel shades throughout. There were plenty of choices for breakfast, which were delicious as was the Sunday dinner. Peter cooked rib of beef with all the trimmings and it was simply stunning. Well done Kim - your desserts were scrumptious too! We enjoyed lots of laughs with our hosts, staff and the other guests. Nothing was too much trouble and the tray of tea and biscuits , when we arrived, was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated after our journey from South Wales. We look forward to a return visit to this happy and welcoming home. Brian & Ursula, Pencoed,South Wales.

Thank you for your wonderful review, it was really lovely to meet you both. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us including our special Sunday Roast dinner. Its worth having for the gravy alone! And of course my puddings (thanks for the mention) I know Peter is the chef but I do enjoy making my puddings.
Well you are not very far, and now you know where we are, we would love to see you again soon. With kind regards Kim and Peter

Just returned from a wonderful 5 night break with Pete and Kim. Stayed in room 9, a lovely peaceful room complete with the most comfortable bed you will ever find and its own sun filled patio and garden, full of flowers - bliss! Pete and Kim made us feel so welcome again and as always went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Breakfast was to the usual excellent standard and we also stayed for Sunday Dinner - we couldn't have wished for a better way to end our time with them. A heartfelt thank you to you both for helping to make our holiday one we will not forget for many years to come. We hope to see you soon.

Thank you for your lovely review, as always it was really great to see you both and this time in the summer with all the flowers out. And as you treated yourselves to one of our luxury rooms you had the added benefit of a private garden to relax in. With our extra comfortable beds and Peters cooking what more could you want? I must mention how good you both looked in your authentic outfits for the classic car show you went to. We are so glad you had a wonderful holiday and that we were part of it for you. Take care and we will see you again soon. Kim and Peter xx

It was our first visit 24th June for 1 week. We felt at home straight away as Peter and Kim made us so welcome and their home and breakfasts more than perfect . After 3 days my husband taken ill with pneumonia and admitted to Exeter Hospital for 1 week. My family could not have done more for me . Peter and Kim offered to drive me to the Hospital I refused as I had my bus pass and bus stop very close. If I should have a call in the night they would drive me there..Even offered to drive us Home to Hampshire when discharged. Our daughter came down. i lost my appetite but Peter came up with tasty dishes e.g Haddock and Smoked Salmon so soon eating again Need I go on..Hope to return when husband healthy .Thank you both so much. Molly Scarth.Portsmouth.

Room Tip: 4 star Band B . We were in room 1 which was a large King size room and the bed was so comfortable...

Thank you Molly for your kind review, It was really lovely to meet you both and just such a shame that your husband was taken ill. It was truly no trouble to look after you, if at anytime in the future one of us were to be in your situation, we would hope that we would be cared for too. You are both wished all the best and when your husband is well again we would love to see you again. Until then, take care of yourselves. Love Kim and Peter xx

A very pleasant B&B just outside of Sidmouth. Beautifully clean and tidy, a lovely room and terrific breakfast, but not cheap. Property is on the main Exeter rroad from Sidmouth, but there is very little road noise. The owners, Peter and Kim, were very welcoming and ensured that we had all we needed. They are open pretty much all year which will suit us, so we'll definitely be back.

Room Tip: Rooms 9 and 10 are the best, but are pricey. Rooms 1 and 6 are good alternatives and are a bit less...

Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
We would not wish to ever be described as Cheap. Everything is of the highest quality for the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. Our rates are very reasonable (basic prices on our website) and with so many of our guests coming back to see us time and again, we must be getting it right.
With kind regards Kim and Peter

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at The Barn and Pinn Cottage.
Peter and Kim provided us with a wonderful stay at their beautiful property.
The level of comfort at the Cottage is 1st Class. We stayed in Room 9 and at times it was difficult to rise from very very comfortable beds. The Room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The private patio for the room, on to the garden, was an added bonus.
The breakfast options and chef's presentation were of a high quality and very well cooked
Peter and Kim have built a beautiful property, that they should, be and are, very proud of.
There is a wonderful homely feel, which Peter and Kim add to, by their very warm and engaging manner with their guests.

Room Tip: Higher floors are accessed via a steep staircase, but having said that, are of a very high quality...

It was our first visit to this lovely place and hopefully not the last. Peter and Kim were on hand to help us at every turn and were extremely friendly. We stayed in Room No. 7 which was immaculate and very comfortable. The gardens were beautiful and parking very secure and easy (space wise). My 91 year old mum had a great time. All round a wonderful place to stay.

Room Tip: Room 7 has a small kitchen.

Thank you for your kind review. It was lovely to meet you and your Mum. We are pleased you both enjoyed your stay with us and we are glad it worked well for you in Room 7 with your Mum in the main bedroom and you on the sofa bed in the lounge area. Each having a separate bedroom with a connecting door and with the memory foam topper on the sofa bed it makes for a very comfortable bed. We hope to see you both again with kind regards Kim and Peter
