Had a lovely dinner in nice surroundings. The staff were very pleasant and efficient.
We had great difficulty deciding what to order as the varied menu had lots to choose from, and of course there was an excellent selection of dishes on the specials board.
My husband opted for the surf'n'turf which he said was delicious. I had a pork casserole, also delicious and our daughter chose toad in the hole from the kids menu, which must have been excellent as she scoffed the lot. Although we were tempted to have dessert, especially when we saw other tables being served theirs, we were full up, so gave it a miss.
All in all, we had a great dinner and considered it good value for money. Well done the Anchor!
