Went for Sat dinner
+Crab starter was superb
+Haddock main cooked to perfection
-Service is way to rushed (feel like that they want the table back even though we avoided the first sitting evening rush)
- Wine list is very limited

I would return but only order the mains once we had the starters finished

I am not quite sure why I was a bit disappointed with this restaurant. The owner does the cooking on his own and the food was faultless, as were the service, but the bill for two of us, £100 was a bit too much for a good but not brilliant meal. The place was full, and I am sure the locals rate it, but it isn't a restaurant I would revisit, WE are so full of wonderful places to eat in the West Country, and this doesn't get in the top tier.

We ate here whilst on holiday in the area and took advantage of the restaurant's 20% off before 7pm offer. The two waitresses were very friendly and helpful, and as the food is cooked to order, were able to ask the chef (Neil himself!) to adapt a dish for my dietary requirements. The food was delicious! I honestly can't remember having such a good meal in a seafood restaurant before! I had bream cooked with prawns and squid, with local potatoes and vegetables. This was followed by a tasty selection of sorbets for dessert. Although everything was on the expensive side, it all tasted so good I was happy with the cost. What is particularly good about this restaurant too is their commitment to using local produce and the fact that the menu changes regularly dependant on the fish that have been caught that day.

Have been to this restaurant three times and have not once been disappointed.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is well worth the price. The focus on quality is very apparent. I treated myself to the lobster and was not let down.

A must try for seafood fans!
