Fab visit, but toilet block a long walk from many pitches and needs updating. Smaller block good but unisex. Friendly staff. Grounds carefully looked after. Some sloping pitches. Donkey sanctuary and Sidmouth fantastic.

Hi JayneannWales

Thank you for your review following your visit to the Park. The new Shower Block is a satellite to the main shower block and has recently been built to reduce the distance for those staying in the Meadow making the facilities a casual 1 minute stroll from the furthest point and then the choice of two. When the new reception block is completed next year it will be reduced to under 1 minute.

When you next visit please do let us know of your disability and we can make sure that we find you a pitch adjacent to the facilities.

We receive many positive and uplifting comments about our main shower block being retro, with character but modern fittings and kept spotlessly clean. Our new private unisex facility contributed to our upgrading to a 5 pennant Park by the AA and similarly appreciated by many. We appreciate it is subjective hence we like to provide choice for our guests.

We look forward to your next visit.

Best wishes

Mark & Sally

What a wonderful stay. At one with nature, respectful campers who are quiet at night. Water points every few meters and clean showers, toilets and a bus a servive hourly to the seafront. Donkeys a little loud at night as near the donkey sanctuary but this adds to its charm. Quaint and charming. Very helpful staff. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and at home here. I'll book again.

We have just spent a lovely four days here recently, super clean facilities. Friendly helpful staff, our tent pitch had an amazing view of the sea which was brilliant to wake up to and watch the sun go down over. Special thank you to Adrian he was very helpful, informative and chatty.
The donkeys in the Sanctuary can be a bit noisy at times but they have been there a long time and warrant more rights then I do.
This is a great base for walking or venturing out in the car Lyme Regis ,Beer, Salcombe, Sidmouth, Seaton are all worth a visit
Thank you for a lovely weekend we will use you again if down that way.

Room tip: We had pitch 52 Brilliant position

We found this site by chance when friends of ours booked and asked us to join them for the may bank holiday. Needless to say we have just returned from our second visit, the site is spotless and Steve and John cannot do enough to help you. There is a little shop that has all the essentials that you are likely to need plus the added bonus of a hopper bus that comes into the site to take you into Sidmouth. There is ample room for children to play and a fantastic dog walk area. Lovely relaxing site. The washrooms and showers are kept clean at all times by the tireless efforts of the site staff. Brilliant

We are enjoying a wonderful weekend at this idyllic campsite! We were greeted by a warm welcome from all the campsite staff, who were friendly and with a can't do enough for us attitude. The site is immaculately presented, with large tent pitches. The bathroom and washing facilities are squeaky clean with everything you need. There is a new toilet and shower block in the corner of the camping field where we are as well as another toilet block in another field. There are views of the beautiful Devon sea from some of the pitches. There are great facilities for children and for our Labrador dog, including a separate dog exercise field. There are lots of lovely walks from the campsite and a open top bus that takes you to sidmouth. A fish and chip van comes on site on a Sunday evening. There is fresh bread and croissants at the camp shop too! We would definitely recommend staying here!
