Stay at the Leeway 6th and 7th July, what a great welcome from Judith and Alan. Rooms are clean, comfortable and very well presented. I don't normally do breakfast however I would say breakfast at the Leeway is the best I have eaten, freshly cooked and delicious. Enjoyed drinks on both evenings with both Judith, Alan and other guests staying at the Hotel. Fantastic place to stay and can't wait to go again. Thank you Judith and Alan see you both soon Helen and Andrew West Yorkshire

Stayed for 8 nights from 6-14th July. What a lovely hotel, amazing views, wonderful hosts Alan & Jude, the most comfortable room and fantastic breakfasts with great variety of cooked dishes, croissants and fresh fruit. All in all the loveliest place to stay with the warmest of welcomes. Fully recommended. Thanks so much R & T, Bournemouth :-)

Room Tip: Room 3!! Beautiful views and really nice room

I always feel that booking online can be a bit of a gamble......

This lovely B & B proved to be a winning hand. Fantastic location , a quality breakfast , welcoming hosts , spotlessly clean and fantastic value for money .

Just back from a one night stay at the Leeway hotel and i have to say that we were very impressed. We had a lovely room which was spotlessly clean and very well decorated and it came with the little extras like complimentary toiletries and bottled water which many other B&B`s dont bother with .The bedding , towels and furnishings were all fresh and new and the final touch was the beautiful view , although the weather was pretty dismal but i am sure it is staggering on a good day.The hotel is very well situated right on the sea front and is a very easy 10 minute walk away from the town centre and the shops , pubs and restaurants.
Breakfast in the morning is served between 8.00am and 9.15am and again is served in another spotlessly clean and very well decorated room and comes with an excellent choice of juices , cerials and hot food and it was delicious as well.
Overall this is an excellent hotel and i would not hesitate to stay again and it is great value for money, there are so many sub standard options out there why take the risk when there is quality like this at a bargain price

We stayed here in June and found the Leeway Hotel to be a great place. The view is excellent - it was a pity about the rain! The welcome was friendly and the rooms are impressively large and very comfortable. The location is good, with a short 10 minute walk down to the centre of Scarborough (a good way to see more of the town I reckon!). The breakfast is superb. It's amazing they only charge what they do (we paid 60 pounds for one night) given the quality of the rooms and the breakfast. The only detractions for us were that we were up on the top floor, and it was actually quite an effort to lug our bags up all the flights of stairs (our fault for packing too much though?!). But we also found the free wifi signal didn't make it to our room - we could use it in the bar and dining room but whenever we were up in our room, the signal always dropped out. But neither of these issues would stop us from staying here again.

The Leeway is an excellent B&B Alan & Judy were very good hosts. We stayed there for 2 nights (27-29 June), on arrival we were greeted by Alan who offered us a hot drink which we have not had at other B&B's. The room was very comfortable and modern with tea & coffee making facilities; you had a choice at breakfast from cereals, fresh fruit, and fresh juice's to the fabulous full English breakfast. We would defiantly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a comfortable and clean place to stay and value for money. We look forward to going back soon.

We needed overnight accommodation with breakfast last week when visiting my parents who were staying in Scarborough on holiday. We found The Leeway through tripadvisor and were impressed by the reviews.
We got a sea view room with full English breakfast for £60 online.
When we googled the property with street view it didn't look to great from the outside, but upon arrival at the property we realised this is a very old image - it looked smart and well presented with pretty flowers outside.

Once inside, we were met by the owner who was very friendly and we were immediately impressed with the quality of the décor and the plush carpets.

Our room was on the top floor with several flights of steep stairs - all beautifully carpeted. Inside, it was well equipped with fluffy towels on the bed, a welcome tea/coffee tray, quality toiletries and lovely bedding. We had an excellent power shower, and complimentery bottles of spring water. Alarm clock and hair dryer all provided.

The view out of the window was of the Castle and North Shore - quite stunning.

Breakfast the next morning consisted of a great range of cereals and fruit and yoghurt's, with a menu to select from full English breakfast - including smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and toasted bagel - AT NO EXTRA COST! We had a cafetiere of fresh ground coffee and loads of fresh toast and preserves.

The hotel has a bar open until 10.30pm.

We will definately use The Leeway again for a short break - the owners have only been there for 9 months and have clearly spend alot of time and money into making this a top notch B&B - Excellent!

Room Tip: Try to get a Sea View room - and if you have mobility issues book a room on the first floor to minim...
