i have never been on a Sherings holiday until my parents invited me along to this coach holiday. I am 49 years old and thought it might be fun to see what the parents get up to in their retirement! I paid a supplement of £10 for a single room over looking the front sea-view, my room was extremely clean and comfortable & had every convenience possible although some parts of hotel need a bit of tlc..
Our coach driver, Roger was a delight to be with & full of knowledge about Scarborough, Whitby, York & Heartbeat Country all the places we visited during our 4 day trip.
Our waitress always had a smile for us and was very efficient, the meals were very good for the price we paid, £119 including free drinks from 7.30 to 10.30pm. The only downside was the evening meal was served at 6.30 till 7.30. We had entertainment every evening which consisted of bingo, singing , dancing, a real variety of talent and a quiz. The hotel staff worked tirelessly to make our stay enjoyable. I for one am not going to wait until i retire to try another one of these holidays out!
