“A fabulous February break”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

We returned to the Sands for our winter break. Yet again we were delighted. Booking, reception & customer service were outstanding. Our one bedroom flat had everything we needed and more. Can't wait to go again in August.

I have just had my 4th visit to these wonderful apartments and once again have not been disappointed. I usually come with my daughter and Mum but this time I brought my friend for her first visit. She is as thrilled with the apartments as I am. We stayed in number 408 looking straight along marine drive. I love this view, there is always something to watch!

The apartment was clean, comfortable and cosy. We both had a lovely relaxing few days. My friend is now eager to come back and I will definitely be returning as soon as I can.

The staff in reception are always helpful, friendly and polite. You could not ask for more. Well done again The Sands!

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Sands Apartments. This is our fifth stay at the Sands over about 5 years and I'm delighted to say their high standards are being well maintained. High quality accommodation at very reasonable rates when compared to seaside guest houses! Most apartments sleep at least 6 and a three bed up to 8 so two families sharing could have 5* accommodation for the price of an average b&b.
Large rooms with great views and all the self catering needs tendered for.Modern furniture nice on suites plus family bathroom modern kitchen and all spotlessly clean.
We booked a self cook breakfast deal. Freshly produced award winning sausage & bacon with mushrooms eggs and tomato plus black pudding for £12 for a family of 4 and well worth it!
India on reception gave us a tour round some of the other Apartments including the superior and the penthouse Apartments
For future stays. she gave us some great advice and tips and is a credit to the Sands as were all the staff we met there.
If you want quality accommodation in Scarborough you won't find better than the Sands apartments.
Thanks to everyone there for a great stay! We will be seeing you again soon. The Cooper Family.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on a corner with a sea view and balcony. It was fantastic and first class. Everything you could need, very clean, modern and luxurious with fabulous views. Couldn't fault it in any way and the staff at The Sands were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Sadly our little grandson wasn't at all well and we had to take him to the local hospital twice. This was very sad for all of us as we weren't able to enjoy the long weekend stay in Scarborough and for our grandchildren in particular. He had developed a chest infection and when we got him back home he eventually went into our local hospital for a week after developing pneumonia. This was nothing at all to do with The Sands of course. We have promised him that we will go back one day as The Sands Apartments are fantastic with a brilliant staff and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Room Tip: Corner suites are large, spacious and sunny.

We had a fabulous weekend at The Sands even despite the wet weather. We stayed in Kepwick 313, definitely home from home (infact probably better!) 5 star luxury all round, fabulous friendly staff, accommodation was first class, we couldn't fault a thing, will definitely be back, hopefully when the sun is shining!!

Stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment 303 Kepwick House - fantastic. 4 adults and we all had plenty of space. Everything you could possibly want and need in an apartment. It's a 'non sea view' apartment but we could see the sea between the two other apartment blocks.
Staff very friendly and helpful...... Nothing was too much trouble. Check in and check out easy and simple. Security in the apartments excellent. Have to use a remote key fob to get into the buildings.
Car parking a big plus as difficult and expensive to park in Scarborough - spacious bays even for large estate car.
Stayed weekend of 24th - 26th January, going to book again for weekend of 7th March!

Room Tip: Think any apartment would be fabulous! Maybe we will try a sea view next time!

I stayed in apartment 304 on third floor of Kepwick House for a long weekend (17th-20th Jan 2014) with my two sisters and my brother, it was a lovely apartment nice furnishings and comfy beds, had a great shower and great fitted kitchen with everything you would need. We had a really nice stay, the staff at reception were very pleasant and very helpful. The view from the balcony was amazing you could see the sea & castle and the park, the only down side were the works which were going on which started early on the Monday morning, thankfully they were off the weekend. The view was destroyed by the horrible mess across the road, was very sad to see such a mess but have been told it will be sorted shortly. The bar downstairs served really good food fish was amazing was called Blue Crush, had a piano player was really nice to sit in the bar, had a mini market and gift shop. The beach was amazing so lovely watching the waves from the balcony, will always love Scarborough so many amazing memories. Will defo visit again.

Room Tip: I would go to the south side Lockton House away from the road and straight views to the sea, go to t...
