Me and my daughter have just returned from spending august bank holiday at the queenscliffe and had a great time as ive not visited scarborough for alot of years. The queenscliffe owner robert is so welcoming and the room was the most comfortable i have stayed in both in the uk and abroad. The beds are huge and the best you'll find for comfort, like others have said the towels are so large and fluffy just what you need after getting out of the lovely ensuite shower. The room as everything you need flat screen tv, dvd player, tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk of your choice in the fridge on arrival, mini fridge for your use during your stay, plenty of wardrobe space and two lovely swivel leather reclining chairs for you to sit and relax in whilst you enjoy the beautiful seaview. The room only with no breakfast was not a problem to us at all as there was plenty of cafes nearby that do lovely breakfasts for reasonable prices. We wanted comfort, cleanliness & a seaview and we got all three at the queenscliffe so dont hesitate pay them a visit. Thankyou to robert the owner for a lovely stay and hopefully we will return again soon.

Did not know where to start with a revew title so thought as every body else does with a comment about the beds or should I say landing pads. They are big and such cumfort.
Its nice to find a GOOD QUALITY place to stay the night, can not fault the Queenscliffe in any way.
Owner on the ball with everything, nice and clean with a good sized room.Every thing there that you could need.
This will be the first place that we will try when we want to visit Scarborough again.

Me and my fiance stayed her may bank holiday weekend. The rooms are gorgeous and very big (especially the bed)! The views are incredible. We loved having the two leather seats to relax in. Rob the owner is a lovely guy and is there whenever you need him but leaves you alone to come and go until you do. Rob will put you fresh milk in the room and even asks you what kind you prefer! Don't be put off buy the lack of breakfast, there are 2 cafes 10 minutes down the road (to the left) that do a £3.50 cooked breakfast and next to those is a nisa. It's perfectly located, right on the seafront, 20 minute walk to the sealife centre, and you have the choice of walking 15 minutes through town to the shops or 30-40 minutes round the seafront to the fayre, arcades and seasidey shops. Its nice to be slightly away from the hussle and bussle as it can get very busy! We have already decided that this will be where we go for all our anniversarys when we're married!

Room Tip: Ring Rob himself to get a good deal and tell him your preferences!

Don't think twice about booking this hotel its just fantastic..... the beds are amazing comfiest beds we have slept in and my husband & I are 5* cruisers, the hotel is immaculate the proprietor very helpful and not in your face but there if needed by buzzing the bell inside the property. Even though the hotel does not offer breakfast this was not a problem we walked along the front into Scarborough to the Harbour View cafe very nice breakfast indeed.

There are coffee and tea facilities in your room along with fresh milk and a great fridge for the wine and beers etc. A large flat tv with dvd player and fantastic sea views from the large bay window with very comfy reclining leather chairs, heating excellent as is the bathroom.

Will be definitely be going back for a long weekend...

Spent the last weekend in September at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation. The bed was super comfortable (Queen size) clean fresh linen and towels. Bathroom was clean and good size bath towels. The view from the bedroom was breathtaking and it was nice and quiet even the seagulls were not noisy!

Our host Rob was very friendly and accommodating and we were appreciative that he waited quite late for us to arrive as we were coming straight form a late wedding reception. There are tea/coffee making facilities in the room and Rob supplied fresh milk of our choice.
If ever in Scarborough again, we shall not hesitate to use this hotel. The fact that there was no breakfast did not trouble us in the least as there are a few cafes and restaurantes around and not having to get up early for breakfast at set times was a bonus.

Room Tip: We understand that all the rooms benefit of a Queen size bed so all should be comfortable. Obviously...

Have just come back from a weekend in Scarbourgh staying at The Queenscliffe Hotel, what a top class hotel, the room was amazing with a fantastic sea view, the bed was queensize but could be made into two if needed, ensuite facilities were very clean, with a big power shower and also towels that were so fluffy and large, fridge with what milk you use and also glasses provided for what drink you would have after a great day out, Leather chairs with footstools also and a flat large tv which you could watch comfortably not one high up on the wall. The hotel does not have breakfast but then again do you really want to get up early when you already do it 5-6 times a week, it was great to wake up when i wanted too, there are plenty facilities for eating about 5 mins walk on the front.
Rob the owner was very friend, attentitive and explained everything fully that needed to be explained.
I will definatley be staying here again next time i'm back in Scarbourgh 10/10.
I would very highly recomend this hotel

Room Tip: Make sure you book directly with Rob not through booking companies online

We've just spent the weekend at queenscliffe and it was perfect. We had a large room with a sea view, queensize bed, egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy pillows, fridge with fresh milk, fluffy bath sheets, large fluffy bath sheets, power shower and proper loo roll. All this and a super host. They have got it just right at Queenscliffe and we'll definitely be back.
