“A fantastic place to stay in Scarborough!”
Reviewed 3 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We stayed at number 138.
Pros:
Tastefully decorated throughout.
Quiet at night.
Everything you could want within a 15/20 minute walk.
Beds and furniture are very comfortable.
Shower is amazing and bath was a good size, both with toiletries.
Kitchen well equipped including dishwasher.
Welcome pack was really nice.
Kettle and hairdryer in every bedroom.
Fridge\Freezer is a really good size for frozen and fresh.
TV is a good size, clear, with freeview channels.
Nice views from bedrooms to south beach also st Mary's church.
The cottages are very spacious.
Great washing machine and dryer.good size.

Cons:
Internet kept cutting out briefly on various devices.
Slightly noisy during daytime due to castle visitors.Though not enough to be a big problem.
No teabags or sugar in welcome pack, again not a big problem.Shops are close by.

Overall: A fantastic place to stay and we would definitely go back. Thanks Carol and Antonio!

“The best.”

We have stayed in Scarborough for many years as the children were growing up and our son wanted a nostalgic trip back with his partner. They live in Thailand. I am so pleased and grateful that the accommodation I had looked at would not accept two night bookings because this accommodation excels. The situation was ideal for all the places we wished to go to. The weather was atrocious for the first two days and therefore a lovely place to return to, cold and dripping wet, was such a bonus. As you can imagine, my daughter-in-law is used to a hot climate and although she loved Scarborough, the Castle, St Mary's church, Spa and the Mere returning to a welcoming home, warmth and a comfy bed was a must. She will come again I am sure and we will be booking Albion Cottages again, if they will have us. Next time i hope my daughter and son-in-law will join us. Thank you for the welcome packs. Judith

“Gorgeous property, lovely views and great location”
Reviewed 28 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Very well presented cottage, with lots of added extras including a welcome basket. The furnishings and facilities were great. We stayed with 3 teenage boys so the space and location was great. Everything was within walking distance, only minutes from both the north and south bays. Would definitely stay again.
