Positives = bedding, towels, bedrooms and bathroom all beautiful and clean.
Negatives = no or very little natural light down stairs in the living room and kitchen. not enough chairs at the dinner table. Some cooking utensils missing, and no tea towels. The fridge in the kitchen froze all our food ( no we did not put things in the freezer by accident). No curtains at any of the windows only vertical blinds. Living room looked out on to 6 wheelie bins and a back yard with a cover. It was originally advertised as a BBQ area ????.
Windows on upper floors don't stay open, Darn't open ground floor window as it opens onto the street. The hall and stair lights go on and off all day and night there is no switch to turn them off at night time. The pillows in bedroom 1A need replacing as soon as possible it was just like sleeping on nothing. The mattress is also very hard and I found it very difficult to get comfy.
We traveled as a party of 7, 6 adults and 1 child, non of us slept very well either due to the beds or the sun rising due to lack of curtains.
Also please ignore the advertising photo of the sea as you won't see that from any of the windows, you need to walk 5 minutes in order to see the beautiful scarborough coastline.
