What a fantastic time we had, nothing was too much trouble, single rooms were spacious, well decorated and very clean. Food was just as good and the serving staff were clean and efficient. We enjoyed this holiday so much we booked up for next year before we left. Excellent value for money only slight negative (if you can call it that is that) if you want lots of bingo be warned the only two games played were 2 flyers each night but the houses were about £150.00

We stayed as part of a coach tour. Staff were welcoming and helpful thoughout our stay. Rooms were spacious and very clean, decor very good and carpets clean. Food was pretty good but sometimes veg could have been better. When it rains the noise outside on metal was horrendous and we bought earplugs to help, though we have to say traffic noise was minimal for our rooms.
Location was not as ideal as we had hoped because it was a half mile walk to the top of the town and much further down to the seafront. Returning is all uphill and there are no buses that stop anywhere near the hotel.
Entertainment was very good on most nights in a large bar/ballroom, and there is a small quiet lounge.
Would recommend to all if able to walk reasonably well or have own car. Staff really made the hotel and we would go back.

Room Tip: Back rooms away from the road but still have a very good view of the town

Very well appointed rooms. Internally the hotel has been refurbished to a good standard. Service is good and the food is good. 2 star AA rating but it should be 3 star. Really very good value for money.

Stayed here as part of coach tour. From the moment we arrived , the staff were so welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms were very clean and very comfortable.
The service in the restaurant was excellent, and the food lovely.
The hotel is about 5 mins walk from the promenade, but quite a steep walk down.
Just at the top of the road are plenty of seats to sit and take in the beautiful views over the beautiful bay
The staff are all a credit to this hotel.

We arrived Saturday afternoon and our first impresion,s were very good nice clean and warm room, friendly staff. We went out to the theatre and arrived back at 10.30, we were told the bar had closed but if we asked they might still serve us, we went in the bar and yes the very friendly barman served us all looking good. Then Sunday morning we went down for breakfast at our alotted time slot, the waitress asked what we wanted for starters, we replied just 2 full breakfast's please at this point we were told we had to wait ????? we only wanted our breakfast, she came back 20 mins later to take our order and within seconds she returned, so fellow future visitor's beware about meal time's, but because of this we will never use this hotel again or recomend.....
