What an amazing couple. thanks to Jan & Ed for such a warm welcome and a lovely cup of tea. Rooms were spotless. Woke up the following morning to a huge cooked breakfast (one of the best i've had) and then packed for our cycle home with a banana and cereal bar.... Will definately try and book again before anywhere else.

What can I say that hasn't already been said in previous reviews? I arrived with a friend after a 60 mile cycle ride to be be greeted wih a fresh cup of coffee. Jan and Edd even locked our bikes in there outhouse. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are comfortable but most importantly spotlessly clean. I agree with the others comments about the breakfast. HUGE and delicious. When I am next in Scarborough I will be staying here.

We were met with a warm and friendly welcome from Ed and Jan, as though we,d been there before. This, however was'nt overbearing or invasive and I'm sure if we'd have wanted to just "crash" they'd have been more than obliging.
The room felt comfortable, clean and personal to their tastes and hence pleasant to stay in, the breakfast was superb, putting many a top hotel to shame not in size and extensive choice but just the right amount of well presented options followed by a "full english" that kept me going til bed time!!!
We unreservedly recommend them and will do so to all our friends visiting the area. Thanks again you two.....a pleasure.

Stayed over the may bank holiday weekend Jan and Edd are the most kindest most thoughtful people we have ever met nothing is too much trouble my daughter likes scoobydoo and she sent DVDs up to the room, chocolate and juice for the kids the rooms are the loveliest rooms we have ever stayed in we loved the place and hospitality so much we booked for 2nights and asked to stay for another night Of which they bent over backwards to accommodate if you are visiting Scarborough it is a must stay you will not be disappointed the breakfast is fit for a king and there is a wide selection whatever your breakfast tastes no body leaves hungry in the morning that's for sure Thanks for everything mr hakes

I stayed here with my wife and 3 year old daughter for 2 nights in April, friendly welcome with a fresh brew brought to your room. Very good breakfast selection: fresh fruits, cereals, drinks and excellent cooked breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good location, short walk to north bay, town centre, south bay, sea life centre & peasholme park, once we'd parked car we didn't use it again all weekend! Family friendly hotel. Will stay here again!
