I stayed here on 6th June 2014 for 2 nights with my husband, 4 year old and 8 month old.
After booking online Jan called me to ensure I had booked the right room for my family, we changed our room booking to a more suitable room and actually saved a little money.
When we arrived Jan and Ed were so friendly, we really felt welcome and comfortable.
We were shown to our room which was number 5 at the top of the house. Our room had a double bed, single bed and a cot, but did not feel cramped. The beds are very comfortable and the travel cot was brilliant, everything was immaculately clean and there was no wear and tear anywhere.
Our room was ensuite, the bathroom was a good size with a shower cabinet. Tea, coffee, hot choc, juice for kids was provided in room as well as toiletries in bathroom. My son particularly enjoyed the chocolate on the pillow at night.
In the morning the breakfast is epic, there is a great choice of cereal and fruit and then there is Ed's cooked breakfast! We went with the full breakfast and it was delicious, everything was cooked to perfection and was not greasy at all.
The guest house is easy walking distance from the beach, with some bars and restaurants and from peasholm park.
In short there is nothing too much trouble to make your stay brilliant, I'm sure they would have read a bed time story and turned off the light if asked lol.
If we return to Scarborough in the future we would not consider staying anywhere else.
Thank you for a great stay x
