Just had an excellent weekend here. Andy could not do enough for us , the room was spot on and nothing was too much trouble. When we found out about the history of the building we appreciated the high level and the trouble they had gone to with their renovations in the colours of the Cadbury family. the breakfast was brilliant ,very large portions in a very pleasant happy atmosphere. It was just a joy to stay here we would highly recommend 17 West street.

Just returned from a 2 night stay, with our son and 2 year old grandson. Had to alter booking several times due to illness, but Andy could not have been more accommodating. The hotel is lovely, beautifully restored, immaculate comfortable bedrooms, with excellent power shower.
The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice with locally sourced products. There was everything we needed for our grandson-including Charlie and Bruce the dog!!
Andy and Micha we so friendly and welcoming--cannot wait to return.5 stars all round.

We stopped here for two nights and were so well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and even when we had to return with a takeaway pizza due to the local Italian restaurant being fully booked, which was disappointing we were fetched plates, cutlery, serviettes and Andy even dressed my salad!
Room was lovely, modern, spacious and very clean, lovely vegetarian breakfast. Not a thing I could fault. Excellent

Just got back from a weekend in Scarborough - we chose this hotel from reviews on Tripadvisor & certainly weren't disappointed. It is in a great location, the cable car down to the spa is only a 5 minute walk away & walking to the town centre only took 10 / 15 minutes. The hotel has been refurbished to a really high standard, the rooms are a mix of old & new which works really well, I was in room 3 which is really spacious & the bathroom was fab. Slept really well, the bed was really comfortable & the Egyptian cotton bedding made a real difference. We were made really welcome, the breakfasts are great, lots of choice & the food is of a high quality & presented well. Oh - and free chocolate in the room - what more can you ask for !! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel & will definitely be going back.

As B&Bs go you could not wish for better. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left nothing was too much trouble for Andy and Mica. We had a spacious room at the top of the house, smartly decorated, with a big comfy sofa as well as a very comfortable bed. The attention to detail and warm and friendly welcome make this a cut above most B&Bs. Its location is handy for the town or the Spa complex and parking was plentiful. I would definitely recommend 17 West Street for a relaxing break.
