This boutique type B&B was a real find, we received a warm welcome from hosts Andy and Misha and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are spacious airy spotlessly clean and contemporary while maintaining the traditional period features. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of choice from the buffet as well as a tasty well cooked breakfast sourced from local suppliers. Don’t let the fact there is no car park put you off, there is plenty of on street parking and Andy is quick to supply you with a parking permit. We had a great time and will defiantly be staying here when next in the area.

No 17 is well situated in an elegant house of some historical significance, very tastefully decorated with good sized rooms. Ours had a bay window overlooking the street which wasn't overly busy. Breakfast was very good, including own-blend coffee. The owners were very friendly and helpful, storing bikes in the garage and even loaning a jet wash! Highly recommended.

A superb find in the Yorkshire town of Scarborough. Came to Scarborough for our daughter's graduation, stayed for 2 nights in a family room . Fantastic hosts, fabulous service, extremely clean and spacious room, breakfast was delicious, I think you would struggle to find this type of service/standard else where in Scarborough. We will definitely recommend to friends and will come back again.

I stayed here with my child and two sets of friends and their children. I was very impressed with the hotel and the cleanliness (which is a must for me) made the little time we spent in the room enjoyable.

Our room was on the top floor, was spacious modern and clean.

The only downside to our stay was that we were asked to eat breakfast at the Brookland Hotel and that was a disaster (per my review of the place). I would recommend staying here as long as you get to eat here.

This is a stylish hotel. The decor is a mix of contemporary and traditional so maintains the features of the building while looking fresh and clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, all with modern ensuites. Run by a friendly couple, went with our teenage children and it felt home from home; plus the breakfast was good. Wouldn't hesitate to book again or recommend,

Just recently returned from a two night stay, really recommend this bed and breakfast, as mentioned in previous reviews Andy and Misha are a lovely young couple who are working really hard to achieve their goals in life! Large bedroom with an excellent shower, comfortable bed, modern decor, very clean etc. Good choice of cereals and a lovely full English breakfast to follow! Overall if staying in Scarborough No17 West Street is a very good choice!
