“Fabulous small hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2012

Stayed here over the weekend. Lovely small hotel with a fantastic breakfast. The owners are very friendly and work hard to ensure that the hotel is immaculately kept and very welcoming.

We will be going back very soon.

Any one reading my previous comments will have noticed that we usually stay at the Raincliffe B & B, but this time they were reluctant to reply to any of my telephone or electronic requests. ut what a bonus that was ! After researching through the local tourist board I came up with The Redcliffe. On the booking form the question was how many children over 12 would be in the party, as we would have our 14 month old grandson with us I rang the hotel to check there are no restrictions on the age of children. I spoke to the owner, an extremely helpfull lady called Ann, who confirmed that there was no problem and would we be bringing our cot or would we like one provided, we chose the later. On the morning before our trip Ann rang to confirm that we would be using their cot. On arrival Ann turned out to be the most helpfull person ever with nothing too much troule. The hotel has recently been refurbished with swipe card locks and well equipped bathrooms, we have stayed in hotels in U.A.E. where the bath products were not as good. The following mornings breakfast was the crowning glory with a large selection of cereals and fresh fruit. Then being a picky eater I went for the full Yorkshire, sausage, bacon, egg, beans, mushrooms, tomato, black pudding, fried bread and bubble and squeak along with brown or white toast with preserves and as much tea or coffe that you could drink, all in all probably the best breakfast I have ever eaten. The bedrooms were of an adequate size, well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. We will definatley stay here again probably in September for my wifes birthday. If you are looking for a comfortable and friendly hotel in a quiet part of Scarborough, but only 10 minutes walk to the town or beach this is the one, also tickets are provided for the on street parking

Room Tip: Only saw ours and daughters family room and they were both fine.

amazing B & B. Very comfortable and clean. The hostess is amazing and made as feel so incredibly welcome. The breakfast is the best you will ever taste. I would travel back to Scarborough just to stay here again!

Room Tip: try for a four poster room.

Although my colleagues and I finished work late, our hosts opened their bar and were hospitable until the early hours. The rooms are quite clean if a mite cluttered with furniture. The award winning breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. Parking on the street with a complimentary voucher.

My husband and I and 2 children stay at the redcliffe hotel at Easter this year. The hotel is excellent very clean and welcoming. Our room was spacious and warm with very good quality bath products. The breakfast was plenty full and well cooked. Would recommend others to stay.

Every year we go to scarborough we stay at the redcliffe Ann & Brian make you feel like its your second home, nothing is to much trouble, both the hotel and the breakfast are of equal excellent quality,We have always been very lucky to get one of the four-poster bedrooms.(very licky!)we have been going to the hotel since Ann&Brian took over from the previous owners ,and have seen the hotel go from strength to strength, all under the careful guidance of zara the dog who is usually the first to greet you when you arrive,THEY ALWAYS LOOK AFTER THIER GUESTS!!

Room Tip: try one of the four poster rooms
