“Great stay”

Well I must say my mother and myself as just come back from staying in the delmont hotel,we was on a coach holiday with coachstyle,I think most of our bus was complaining about the hotel saying about the cleanliness and the staff at breakfast, well ive got to say my bedroom was very clean the staff were brilliant at meal times, they did there very best we did not have sour milk if we wanted something we got it,the entertainment was very good every night but other people was more interested in the football,on the Mon when we arrived there was a singer on and we felt sorry for him cause after bingo they all left but we had been travelling all day so that could have been do to being tired.

Room Tip: I was in room 103 and it was very clean and my mother was in 102 and that was also clean so I do not...

Satisfied with everything but the dreadful meal time service, such as toast served after you had had your cooked breakfast, Tea served in coffee pots, Meat served and forgot to bring vegatables until reminded, Sour milk one day, Some good staff and some young untrained and didnt have a clue staff, They had two bus loads in at once and simply couldn't cope, If they could sort out serving problems it would be much better.

just to put a few things straight. We do not and have never had check in at 2pm!!! it takes until 3pm to clean the 51 bedrooms therefore we say check in as after 3pm so I do not know where you have got this from about check in at 2pm!! breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.15am not 9,30 am as you stated and we do open the dinning room doors at 8,30 am every morning. You need to get your facts right before accusing people. Regarding the window hanging off its hinges? As I do not know which bedroom you stayed in as you did not make your complaints to the reception I can only say that we have for the past few weeks had a full hotel and noone has even mentioned that a window is hanging off its hinges, let alone any of the staff finding it so its a mystery.

I booked a room for an over night stay, the view was spectacular , the staff were very friendly with a family run feel! And that's where the niceness ends! Grotty, shabby and dated to say the least! The carpet has rolled up in the middle , there was mild behind the sink although the bed was clean the room was off putting! Not one to recommend

Traditional seaside hotel, was exactly what I expected, its not luxurious but it is comfortable and clean, we had no issues with breakfast we were seated straight away as seating is allocated so there isn't a scrum for tables. The time window of 3/4 of an hour does seem tight but if u arrive at 8.30 they manage to get you sorted in plenty of time and they do serve at 9.15 so really its up to about 9.45, think its a bit unfair to suggest it all stops at 9.15. The breakfast was nice well cooked, you could have cereal toast and fruit juice as well as the full English. Its in a nice location which seems a long way out of town if you walked round the front but its only about 10 minutes if you walk through the back streets. Its good position for the north bay with the sea life centre, the north beach and peaseholm park, I think they do firework displays there in the summer. Good base for exploring maybe not brilliant for kids as there isn't anything to do for them really. The bar is nice and the lounges with the sea view are ideal place to read a book and watch the world go by. We had 2 rooms bed and breakfast for £120 so I don't think you can argue with that for value. We would stay there again if we wanted a cheap night at the seaside.

Arrived to be told the rooms were not ready, considering they would know in advance when we would arrive. Our room was very basic indeed, and in need of refurbishment.Breakfast only 8.30 till 9.15, full bus load and other guest. Staff had not a clue who was doing what, waited ages for extra milk etc for our b/fast,s. There was NO organization at all. Would not be going back again.

Excuse me but if you had asked for your rooms not to be cleaned after the previous guests then we could have arranged this for you. Wise up Guests leave the hotel at 10.30 am, rooms get cleaned (all 51 of them) new guests arrive for check in at 3pm. We do our best but miracles take a little longer!!!!!!
