Owner description: Situated between Scarborough and Whitby in the North York Moors National Park, Pesky Husky is a unique experience for any visitor. Pesky Husky was set up in 2007, when our aims were to provide a centre where people could learn about the amazing qualities of the oldest breed on the planet and how they are simply like no other dog. With 30 sled dogs for you to meet, Pesky Husky offers Husky Hiking all year round; a walk with the dogs through the open countryside, using specialist belts and equipment specifically designed for sled dogs. A fun and unique activity, this is perfect for adults, families with children, walking groups or anyone who wants to meet and spend some quality time with these amazing animals! This includes a full kennel visit, instruction and equipment. Prices start at £15 and we also provide gift vouchers as well as bookings.

A brilliant different experience. Debbie and Taz were fantastic, enthusiastic and funny as well as very supportive. Its hard work but very rewarding and the dogs are just amazing. Both our boys loved it despite being initially nervous and judging by the smiles on their faces they would happily do it again. Seeing the dogs in the kennels was also great they are so gentle and have such big personalities. Overall it was a great morning and if you are dubious, trust me, do it you will enjoy it!

Sunday 9th March '14. A morning to remember ! Thanks to Debbie & her team of wonderful Husky's we gave our two older grandchildren a morning of fun & laughter. They enjoyed the challenge of scooting along with the Husky's pulling them around the course.
The visit to the kennels was very enlightening and a lovely experience meeting all the friendly Husky's. Not a growl or bark only friendly affectionate dogs with a real zest for life and work.
Debbie's extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for her dogs and business was very refreshing. To listen to.
If you like to do something different give this a try. You won't regret it.
Make sure you wear sensible footwear. Have fun.

What a great experience. Both the owners & the dogs are very enthusiastic which just meant the time we spent there was exceptional. We did the three experiences starting with the track. I could believe how quick the dogs were & how keen they were to race round. We then went on the trek & Sirius who was determined that we should be at the front & that we were not going to be going slowly. Finishing with the kennel visit allowed us the meet all the dogs & learn a bit more about them. An experience I would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

The owner clearly loves her huskies to bits and is incredibly knowledgeable. The huskies themselves are beautiful, affectionate and obviously love what they do. We got to meet all 31 dogs and then went out on a hike with Biscuit and AK. Sadly the trek circuit was too waterlogged for us to go round but we're going back for that in May. Amazing experience and can't wait to go back and see how big the gorgeous pup Bolt has got and to meet the new pups. Thank you for a brilliant morning.

We thoroughly enjoyed Pesky Husky. Everyone was so welcoming from the outset. Firstly we got to meet all the dogs. We were really impressed with how passionate and knowledgeable Debs were about the dogs. The trek itself was a right laugh this was helped along the Debs and the team were a hoot. I would recommend this activity to everyone
