we chose this hotel because it was one of the cheapest we could find and I use premier inn when on business and am impressed. This one doesnt let them down, good quality, clean, comfy beds, helpful staff and great central location all helped to make the weekend very enjoyable.

We used this as base to look around scarborough, rooms (as ever with permier inn) were clean tidy fresh and modern. A bonus was the large windows and lovely view to the front aspect of the hotel. The staff on the reception desk were really aproachable with great local knowledge, they made us feel instantly welcome without a push for the auful self check in that seems to be creaping into a lot of the hotels now.

The hotel is literally a stones throw from the busy sea front and a pleasent drive from neighbouring Whitby. The only letdow here i would say is the lack of onsight parking, however this may not bother many people. There is a carpark on the opposite side of the road from the hotel which is fine for one or two nights but coud work out very expensive if needed for longer.

A well located hotel. Being relatively new bedrooms were fresh and well appointed for a "budget hotel". Noise could be a problem; we like to sleep with windows open and first night of 2 we were woken at 3am by squabling seagulls! But rooms are effectively triple glazed and the next night we had them firmly closed and relied on the air-conditioning to keep us cool. This was fine and we slept well.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful,
Parking is a problem, particulalry as there is no laybye outside the hotel for dropping off luggage etc. Adjacent Brunswick car park does not have easy access when on foot; the Palm Court multi storey opposite the hotel can prove costly; although free overight if you enter just before the start of the free period and leave next morning just after you can be stung for a full 24 hour charge of £10!!

we stayed here new year 2011/2012 we parked at the train station it was £5 for 24 hrs, but we wnet in the tourist info at the shopping centre and paid for 2 days and got the 3rd free , so all in all it cost us £10 for 3 days car park . absolutly loved this hotel, location is just right, rooms and service brilliant , what we expect from premier , thats why we always book premier whenever we can ,

I've just returned from this hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and it was well located.

We paid extra for the breakfast which I would recomment as it seen us through to dinner.

The only downside is the lack of parking. Although you can park in the car park opposite from 6pm - 9am for free, it is a small car park and means you have to be up early to move it or pay for parking.

I travelled with my husband who is a full-time wheelchair user and the hotel had excellent accessibility.

However its a good hotel and I would return!

I travelled to Scarborough on the 14th May 2012 and stayed 3 nights, the staff both in the hotel and the Brewers Fare restaurant attached were EXCELLENT .
The position of the hotel in very good for the centre of town, just 1minute walk, the hotel does not have its own car park, but parking in the local area is free from 6pm to 9am,and also free parking in the Palm Court Hotel opposite at the same times,I did not take advantage of the £22 meal deal, which I would normally do,because he parking charges locally are expensive,so we got up and left hotel early each morning.
Whitby is just 20 miles way and definitely worth a visit and has plenty of top notch fish and chip restaurants,I visited the Quayside restaurant, which I would definitely recommend for the best fish and chips I've ever had .Biggest negative about Scarborough are the seagulls ,the council need a cull there everywhere

Room Tip: Room 305 had a good view
