“Great weekend in Scarborough”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for 2 nights with family. The room we was allocated 111 was clean and tidy and quite big with plenty of space.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Although there was some traffic noise we still slept well. And the beds were very comfy too.

The location was fantastic only a short walk to the promenade and shops, restaurants and bars.

An added bonus was the brewers fayre which was next to the hotel so very handy for meals and drinks.

We will return if we visit Scarborough again.

I found this hotel to be in a great location, the room n bathroom were both very clean. The restaurant food was delicious! A nice easy stroll from the beach front. The staff were super friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again

Stopped here for a night, my wife became ill (nothing to do with the hotel) and staff very helpful in getting me assistance. (Kinga and Lorraine).

Bed was awful, felt like I was going to roll off as the mattress peaked in the middle. Room size - excellent, watch your fingers on the kettle as the steam escapes and burns your fingers - if it decides to turn off at 100 degrees.

I did not have the heart to complain about the bed as the staff were very friendly and it didn't cost the earth to stay there.

Breakfast was lacklustre, choose bread from the back as it hasn't gone stale like the front slices. Eggs could be hotter.

stayed here again in march. As always the hotel is spotless and all the staff were brilliant, particularly Vika and also Peter on reception, who both went above and beyond the call of duty in resolving issues for guests. they even lent me a shaver lead and socket as I had forgotten mine.
The bar and restaurant were excellent, and we particularly liked the unlimited coffee.

"No on site parking but parking available close by" yes for a car and for an additional £10. Car park has a 2 metre height limit so is no use for vans. There is an open pay and display car park but as this is free from 6 pm to 9 am you will struggle to get in. As for the rest of the hotel, it's a premier inn it's clean and in a good state of repair, they are all pretty good this one is above average. The Brewers Fayre was quiet so the buffet was not to good, most of the food had been out to long. Summary: compare prices on one of the well known booking websites then allow £10 extra for parking here before you decide.

We stayed for a long weekend. Decent size room, initially thought great to be in a far away room - till later on.....
As ever nice comfy bed, plenty of pillows. I don't appreciate not having a normal toilet roll in a bathroom, it was more public toilet sheets!! After dark and at bed time, the pub/club behind was very very noisy. Made worse by the fact the room 'climate control' didn't work so we had to have the window open as it was stifling. Don't accept rooms 126/127!! Over all would stay again but really just a normal Premier Inn in a handy location.

I used this Premier Inn for a one night stay. It is located adjacent to a road and while we had a room on the front of the building we were not too disturbed by road noise. We received a warm welcome from the reception staff. Our reservation was found and the booking in process was speedy. We were able to find our room easily and without any delay.
The room itself was clean and tidy and was large enough to accommodate a double and a single bed. The usual Premier Inn tea and coffee tray was available and the bathroom was equipped with dispensers for soap by the wash hand basin and shower.
We used the adjoining restaurant, a Brewers Fayre for an evening meal and breakfast. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and we were served promptly both in the evening and at breakfast time. I felt the menu cards that were being used in the evening could have been cleaner or needed to be replaced. The usual cooked element of the buffet breakfast was replaced by a "cook to order" as the hotel was quiet on the Sunday night. The choice of cereals etc was as you expect from a Premier Inn and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The food was perfectly acceptable for our needs.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this Premier Inn. As previous reviewers have said, one of the nicer Premier Inns that I have used.
There is no parking at the hotel but there is a pay and display car park across the road.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the road.
