This was our first stay ever at a Premier Inn (a new years break) so it was quite expensive for the 2 nights. Having said that, we are already planning our next stay. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable and all of the staff are lovely and oh so helpful. We were in room 226 which overlooked a library so the view wasn't to write home about, but there was no noise at all in the night.

There is a bit of snobbery regarding these types of hotels, but we regularly use them for breaking journeys or city breaks.
This one is relatively new and we stayed for a couple of days in early December.
Check in was fine and by booking in advance it was around £56 for the two nights. The room was great, plenty of space, with a flat screen TV and Egyptian cotton duvet cover and sheet. Heating was controllable from the room.
All in all, if you just want an uncomplicated, short stop, where you want to eat out, then this fits the bill.

Room Tip: I am slightly disabled - told them this when they phoned us to check if they could help in any way (a nice touch) - and they got us a first floor room next to the lift.

A twixmas break with friends, the hotel has a pleasant feel to it and although no parking there is paid parking very close by.
Its situated close to the town centre and a short stroll away from the cliff tops and a view of the sea.
We ate in the restaurant and had a lovely Sunday carvery, the only down side is the lack of comfortable seating area space for drinks after your meal.
As always Premier inn staff are more than helpful and pleasant.

I have stayed here twice in the last few months and I would recommend to all,

This hotel is only about 2 years old ,so still has a new feel to it,

The rooms are clean and comfortable,

The breakfast's are very good ,as are the evening meals,

All staff are excellent,

Parking is either in the bays,or multi storey, both over the road,

Excellent base, and I would definitely stay again.

We went to the Premier Hotel for a base to stay as we were visiting friends here, they were catering for the Christmas period with the exception of breakfasts so these we took at the Hotel, we could not fault the food we had, it was an all you can eat breakfast and everything you could want was available, excellent service with friendly staff.
